The ceremony

I gathered the tail end of my dress, careful to not let it become dirty as I made my way towards the wildflower garden with Petra at my side. I could hear the commotion intensify with every step I made closer. Due to the nature of the garden, it completely blocked the view of anyone inside unless you were looking at it straight on. I could see the beautiful trees with the falling vines filled with blue flowers coming into view as I knew I was close.

As I made my way through the meadow to the garden, I could feel my heart racing. The air was filled with the smell of sweetness seeping through my laced veil. I was practically running at this point with the dress. Petra stopped me before getting to see everyone.

"Let me go first, you are the bride after all," She said before walking ahead of me with a nod. I smiled and calmed myself, letting her go first. I was unsure when I should appear, I heard everyone talking loudly until it all went silent suddenly. It surprised me until there was a sound of a note in the air, then another. Someone had a musical instrument! The sound of a flute filled the air and I started to blush again. They were playing a sweet song for me! I held back my tears as I firmly gripped my bouquet and started to walk forward as gracefully as I could.

I turned around the corner and saw everyone gathered up in the garden. There was a piece of red cloth on the floor for me to walk on, chairs set up with others smiling proudly, and best of all, Levi standing in the center of the garden with white flowers reaching their final bloom behind him. He looked amazed at me with a hint of blush on his face. I could see in his gray eyes he thought I was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

I smiled and kept my eyes focused on him as I walked down the aisle. He was dressed in a grey suit that fit him to a tea. He looked even more handsome than I thought was possible as his hair was shiny and sleek. He had a smile on his face as I stepped closer, he reached out his hand and helped me step onto the pedestal. I stepped in front of him and held his hand.

"This is for you," he told me cooly as he placed a ring that shined like the moonlight on my ring finger. I smiled as I pulled out a gold ring I had bought from that old lady in secret and placed it on his hand. He looked surprised but accepted, both fitting perfectly.

"Hey! Get on with it you two!" The loud one yelled again as I let out a small laugh.

"Okay then! Levi, I promise to be yours and only yours forever. Will you take me as your wife?" I blurted out sweetly as he blushed a bit, obviously a bit embarrassed of all of this public display. He swallowed his embarrassment though as he spoke to me.

"Yes, and I promise to be yours as well," He told me coolly. I blushed as I held his hands, ready to officially make our union a permanent one.

I smiled as Erwin stood up and yelled out loudly, "You may now kiss the bride!"

Levi grabbed me surprisingly, making me put my shoulders around him, as he held me from falling, forcing me to look up into his beautiful eyes as he planted a passionate kiss on me before standing up and acting cool again. I smiled despite the huge display of public affection as everyone cheered.

"I didn't know you had that in you Captain!" They yelled out.

"Yeah, I do. So no one get any funny ideas about my wife," he stated proudly, holding me close to him with his hand around my waist. Wife, that felt good to hear. I smiled as I cheered with the others, happy to see Levi show the others just how much he loved me as I kissed him again excitedly. He smiled, I knew he felt comfortable enough to show himself to our closest friends.

Everyone went back inside to celebrate with a grand meal and asked their impeding questions about how long our relationship was lasting and why we hid it. We answered them all briefly but truthfully.

"Where will you go now? Are you still going to be the Captain?" Petra asked.

"Oh yeah, about that. Erwin!" Levi yelled out. Erwin stood up and came to Levi, handing him a pair of keys as Levi thanked him. He turned me to and smiled.

"You kept a surprise for me for the wedding, but I did too. Come with me," he said as he turned around. The others stayed to party a bit more as Levi took my hand and led me outside. I held my dress to make sure it wouldn't get dirty as he walked with me about ten minutes East to a wooden cabin. He smirked as he took the keys to the large wooden key and turned the knob, opening it up to reveal a newly cleaned house.

"This is our new home," he said proudly. "It was a gift from Erwin, so make sure to thank him later," He explained.

I was astonished at the gift as I went with Levi to explore. There was a large kitchen with a living room for us to relax in. With polished wooden stairs, there was an upstairs with a large room already packed with my and Levi's belongings. As I turned the corner and looked around more, there was a second room with a little engraving on the door of a basset.

I reached for the door to open it when Levi stopped me. He opened the door instead and showed me a room set up for our soon-coming child, complete with a basset and a small toy. It brought tears to my eyes.

"Did you do this?" I asked, fighting back the tears. He only nodded as he rubbed my back. I couldn't believe the amazing man I caught as I attacked him with a passionate kiss as he held onto me. He picked me up again and brought me out of the room, still holding me.

"Should we consummate our marriage now?" He asked me smugly as I blushed and nodded. The others would probably leave us alone for the night anyway, as I kissed him deeply while he carried me to our new bed.
