Delivery

We made it quickly to the hospital. Levi didn't waste any time as my pain worsened. One of the nurses rushed to get the doctor from his house in the middle of the night. I was given a private room and Levi stayed at my side, kissing my hand and doing his best to support me through everything. Not long after we arrived my water broke. I had never seen him look so helpless to see me in so much pain, unable to fix it, but he kept it to himself to look strong for my sake. 

It had already been a few hours since it all started and the doctor did thankfully hurry. Unfortunately, my labor lasted all through the night. The sun had risen and Levi was by my side without sleeping since I woke him up, trying to make me comfortable as my pain only intensified. I was appreciative of everything he tried to do for me, even if it didn't do much. At this point, everyone we cared for was aware of what was happening as Erwin and our comrades were in the waiting room. Levi promised them the day off when this happened, but they came anyway to support us. Their sweetness filled me with happiness through all the pain.

Interrupting my thoughts was a pain sharper than before as the doctor came back to check on me. I felt the need to push as I squeezed Levi's hand, letting him know it was time. I sat up on my knees to try and alleviate any discomfort while everyone prepared for the big moment. Levi looked almost scared but he regained his composure as he got behind me, helping to hold me up as I started to push. It hurt like hell as I let out a scream for a small baby girl to take her first breath.

I was crying by this point, as I held her in my arms. She was so small, maybe about four pounds? I passed her off to Levi, who looked in shock at his daughter. She was absolutely beautiful with his black shiny hair and grey eyes. She had pale skin and cute red lips. Levi smiled at her and passed her onto the doctor to make sure she was healthy.

"Isn't she small? For how big you-" I screamed, interrupting him as he looked surprised and held me again. I was so confused as I cried out again. I could hear half cheers and half groans from the waiting room from people in the waiting room losing and winning their bets on twins. I couldn't laugh despite the humor in the situation as I delivered another identical baby girl. Levi looked mortified as he held another daughter of his but immediately turned to passion for his family as he kissed his baby girls sweetly on their heads.

The doctors were handling them carefully and making sure they were healthy, but my sharp pains weren't completely gone yet. I held onto Levi, making sure he wouldn't move as I tried to catch my breath. He looked concerned but didn't let go of me for my sake. The doctor seemed surprised too. 

"What did you do to me Levi?!" I yelled out as I held my stomach in what felt like never-ending pain. It had been almost thirty minutes since I delivered the second girl. 

"You can do it," Levi reassured me calmly as he kept holding me upright and kissed my head. I nodded, wiping away my tears as my pain worsened yet again, for the final time as I delivered a third baby. It was a boy this time, with black hair and green eyes like mine this time. I was so happy to be done with labor as I kissed all my now three children, completely overwhelmed by the fact I just delivered triplets. 

"You delivered an army," He told me, completely dumbfounded as we tried to figure out how to hold all our children. They were all small, the biggest weighing 4 pounds and 8 ounces and the smallest four pounds three ounces. After a little bit of time passed, I allowed everyone in as they were all shocked to see us holding three children.

I was an absolute mess but excited to see everyone as they congratulated me and Levi seemed impressed by my strength I had never seen before. All three were born within an hour of each other in the early morning.

"You have your hands more than full," Erwin told Levi with a reassuring smile. Levi looked back at him with his typical stoic impression while I rested in the bed.

"Yeah, I guess I do. Good thing they all have such a great godfather," Levi replied calmly. Erwin looked at him curiously before Levi continued. "Thanks, Papa Erwin. You are going to be needed," Levi told him bluntly. 

Erwin looked surprised but smiled as he hugged Levi. Levi accepted but didn't get as excited as Erwin did. I nodded, in agreeance he had done more than enough for us to be the godfather. Levi did let out a small smile 

"So, how do we settle the bets now?" The obnoxious one asked. I laughed as everyone decided no one would win anything as no one predicted three, not even Levi or I. Despite Levi being worried about having so many, he seemed excited as he sat by me with all the children as I tried to figure out how to feed them.

"What are the names?" Petra asked as she held one of my baby girls excitedly. I was relieved to have such a big family to help me with all of these kids as I tried to rest a bit from the intense delivery, relieved everyone was healthy.

"That's Dawn. She was the first born at dawn," Levi said confidently, pointing at our oldest girl Petra was holding.

"How do you tell them apart?" Erwin asked.

"Because I am the father, believe it or not," Levi responded sarcastically. He was referring back to the first time he said he was the father to Erwin. This caused laughter as I smirked, looking at the small black number one on the right foot painted on by the doctor to tell the difference between the two. 

"And the others? Maybe name the boy Pipsqeek since he will be small like his dad," The obnoxious one said.

"What did you say?" Levi told him with a menacing tone as he backed up and apologized. I just smiled at the chaos as I took my boy and held him in my arms. He was my smallest, but he was adorable as I played with his small fingers.

"He is named Uri and she is named Zariah," I stated. Levi nodded in agreeance with these names as we tried to adjust to our new lives.
