"Straight to the northeast! Follow me." Tanjiro said, leading Genya and Nezuko towards their target while the four demons are busy fighting against the Black Leg. Taking the opportunity to attack the real body without being seen.

"Are you sure you can walk?" Genya expresses his thoughts. Deep down, he was worried for Tanjiro's wellbeing. It's the first time he had seen someone that still trying to fight after so many injuries.

"Believe me, I am doing well right now." Tanjiro smiled, hiding the pain that he's experiencing. He didn't want Genya or Nezuko to be worried. After all, he's not going to give up that easily. Not after all the rigorous training he had done to become stronger. His efforts are not going down the drain.

"Tch, fine. Just so you know, I'm the one who's going to kill the demon and become a Hashira!" Genya stated that the one who's going to kill the Upper Rank was him. Tanjiro said nothing. He's quite curious at Genya. He's sure that Genya was stabbed in a vital spot. A spear pierced sight through him earlier.

"To be honest, I don't know if you could cut the neck. These demon are entirely different than we had faced." Their chance of winning seems to be relatively low. The moment that Tanjiro realized they could use Haki, it is almost impossible to cut their neck.

"What? What do you mean by that? Are you underestimating me?" Genya feel like he was challenged.

"No! I didn't mean it like that! Haki. Those demons can use Haki." Genya tilted his head. He never heard of Haki before. Is it similar to Blood Demon Art?

"Haki?" Genya wanted further explanation.

"You could say that its a form of hardening. Specifically Armament Haki. It could harden specific body parts or weapons that makes it near indestructible. It's like trying to cut a piece of metal." Tanjiro briefly explained. Then, how are suppose to fight?

"Then what can we do? I guess that you have a plan." Genya suggests that Tanjiro might have a plan or else, they're fucked. Nezuko looked at Tanjiro with curiosity. She wanted to know his next move.

"It's more of a gamble, really. Haki cannot be bypassed. But it is something that had to be activated, being conscious. If we could get him before he used Armament Haki, we might have a chance." Tanjiro explained.

"So it's fifty-fifty? Is there any other plans?" Genya asked whether they have other ways that they could use.

"It's that or nothing. This is our greatest chance." Tanjiro need to take risks. It's the only way to ensure victory. Although it comes at a great price.

"Hmmh!" Nezuko agreed.

"Tch! I'll take it. But are you sure he's somewhere here?" Genya turn to left and right. Searching for the fifth demon. The forest are thick. In addition of night time, its no easy task to locate what they're seeking.

"I'm sure he's here. The scent is getting stronger and stronger! We're close. Keep your eyes open. He's somewhere." Tanjiro is sure that the demon that they are looking is somewhere here, hiding within the shadows.

"Urghh!" Tanjiro was on his knees. He is slowly succumbing to his injuries. He forced himself to stand up. The battle is not yet over. There's no time for him to rest. Nezuko hurried over her brother.

*Fwoo*

She touched her brother and ignited Tanjiro on pinkish flames. The flames covering Tanjiro's body. Genya was taken aback. He didn't understood what was happening. The flame then dies out automatically.

"You cauterized the bleeding. Thank you, Nezuko." Tanjiro patted his little sister on the head. The bleeding had stopped, for now. As the wind flew in their direction, Tanjiro picked up a smell.

"On our right! It is moving towards the south! Find it!" Tanjiro instructed both of them to look for any signs.

"Genya! Didn't you find anything?" Tanjiro asked. He shook his head. I'm looking! I've been trying to the whole time! Can I not see it because of a demonic art? Where?! The longer this goes on, the more exhausted I get!

Then, Genya spotted a tiny figure, hiding behind the tree and beneath the leaves. Genya was surprised by the size of this demon. It's tiny! Too tiny! This is the main body?! The little creep! He's the size of a mouse!

The other four are really strong! This little pipsqueak is controlling them! While fending aginst those four earlier, we're supposed to go mouse hunting? Now I see how they've defeated so many Demon Slayer Corps members so far. What a sneaky little bastard!

"Over here!" Genya alerted Tanjiro over his finding. Both of them nodded at each other. They sheathed their sharp Nichirin katana and swing it together at Hantengu's neck before he could even react. Using the Hinokami Kagura Breathing Technique yet again, he launches a powerful swing to Hantengu.

*Shing!*

"This is the end! Die!" Genya stated. Their blades reaching out towards Hantengu's neck, that cuts the skin and almost reached the neck. They did it. The won...or so they thought.

*Roar!!!*

*Fwoosh!*

*Boom!*

All of their efforts went down the drain, as a massive gusts of powerful wind being blown over their direction, throwing them towards the air. They were hurled hundred meters away.

*Rustle*

Genya got stuck on a tree branch. Dammit! All of our efforts went to hell!

*Fwoo!*

"Nezuko!" As Nezuko and Tanjiro is flying, Tanjiro reached out to her hand and grabbed her. He pulled her towards him and hugged her. In attempt on protecting her from harm.

*Fwoo!*

*Bam!*

"Ark!" Tanjiro was slammed into a huge tree with a great force. Yet, Nezuko remains unharmed from any danger. The sudden burst of gale had stopped.

*Nezuko....are you okay?" Tanjiro asked. Nezuko just nod. From afar, another demon emerged. He's the one behind the sudden hurricane previously.

The demon has a short and muscular young boy with short black hair that spikes up at various angles around his head and narrow gold eyes. He also has the kanji for "hatred" etched into his tongue. He is seen wearing an angry scowl on his face, seemingly to be displeased.

He locked eyes with Tanjiro.
