Hantengu

Hantengu ran away as far as he could from the place where the battle is happening. With him beside Zohakuten, it is going to be hard for Zohakuten to protect him while being on the offense at the same time. 

He forced his two feet to run as fast as he could, trying to hide away from the evil swordsmen who wants to claim his life. He was scared for his life. He didn't understand. Why did they wanted to kill him? He's a good-natured man! He deserve pity, but no one did understand him!

The only thing that he could do right now is hide, and wait until the situation is over. He trusted that Zohakuten could wipe the floor with all of them. He didn't have to be worried about stamina, since demons were blessed with infinite stamina at the first place that gave them an edge over the humans since they don't need to rest.

*Whoosh!*

From the trees, Nezuko landed right behind her brother alongside Genya. They began to sprint as fast as they could, following right behind Tanjiro. Tanjiro was surprised by the arrival of the two. He didn't expect them to be here.

"What are you guys doing? You should go!" Tanjiro advises to stay back. He knew that Genya was also exhausted from the fight earlier as well as his little sister who took quite the beating before Sanji arrives.

"Hmph! Hmm! Hmmh!" Nezuko says something, which was blocked by the bamboo muzzle on her mouth to keep her from eating humans. Tanjiro didn't understand what is Nezuko is trying to say but he gets the gist of it from the tone of her voice. She's angry because of him.

"Your sister was eager to follow you." Genya interrupts her. She's a bit mad that he acted this way alone which is very dangerous of him.

"But this is too dangerous! You need to leave!" Tanjiro insisted them on leaving. Which Nezuko shakes her head aggressively. 

"Even though it's dangerous, that doesn't mean that you can have all the fun to yourself. Remember this! I'm going to be the one who kill that demon!" Genya stated.

Tanjiro could just watch and smirked. "Well then, be sure to keep up!" Tanjiro increases his speed.

"Eeek! They're here already?! What is Zohakuten doing? Letting these kids pass?!" Hantengu can't fathom how the kids managed to catch up on him with Zohakuten protecting him. This can't be! I need to make away, quick! I need to lost them!

Hantengu began to ran faster and faster than before. Leaving the three in the wind. They're struggling with catching up with Hantengu. Hantengu seems to be further and further from the three of them. Looking at the trees, Genya got a brilliant idea.

"I have an idea!" Running to the nearest tree, he hugged it, exerting as much strength as he could within his body. Tanjiro is confused. (What are you doing) He thought.

*Krash!*

Genya was able to carry the tree log with his own pure strength. Ripping the tree roots out of the ground. As he muster his demon ability from eating the flesh of a demon earlier, he gained their strength. He is the only one that have this unique type of ability. While gaining strength, speed, power and healing powers that of a demon he also gained a new weakness, which is the sunlight. 

Although this power only could be use for a short period of advantage, it have him a slight edge over demons. The strength that he obtained at the end mirror the demon that he ate. The stronger the demon, the stronger be come.

"Arghhh! Just die already!" With a scream, Genya throws the tree log right in front of Hantengu, blocking his way. Nezuko and Tanjiro stared at Genya with an unbelievable and surprised look on his face.
