While Tanjiro departed to the Hashira Training grounds alongside Zenitsu who complained about the harsh training regiment that they would have to endure soon. Zenitsu wished that whoever proposed that idea should just die in a ditch somewhere. He had enough of training with Law before.

"Whoever thought of that kind of idea should just go and die in a gutter!" Zenitsu cursed with veins popping in his face. He gritted his teeth in anger.

"I think sparring with someone ranked higher than you is a quick way to improvement! The stronger our opponent, we could also be stronger!" Tanjiro believed that fighting someone strong could also elevated their strength by pushing themselves through the limit.

"Mwahahahahaha! That's right, Gonpachiro!" Inosuke agreed with Tanjiro's answer as he slapped Tanjiro's back while laughing. More training would make him stronger, and he's sold.

"Truly, you have been brainwashed by that goddamned surgeon." Zenitsu could just shake his head. He truly felt that there's no saving his good friend no more. Zenitsu cried it out after just imagining how tiring the training would be.

"Hey, but I think that this won't get harder than what Law-san used on us." Tanjiro tried to ease the anxiety and worry that is plaguing Zenitsu's mind. He patted Zenitsu's shoulder.

"Yeah, I don't think that there would be a training regiment that could top minefield and getting tossed into a waterfall." Zenitsu winces when remembering the moment he was thrown off from a waterfall while being tied with a rope.

"Really? That's a shame! Surgeon's training is fun and awesome!" Zenitsu glares at Inosuke and winces in irritation.

"Oi! You stupid boar! What do you think almost losing your life is fun?!" Zenitsu can't stand with idiots like Inosuke, who acts recklessly and make judgements irrationally.

"Yeah! Because of that, I can get even stronger!" Zenitsu is done speaking with the boar. Arguing with idiots are harder than fighting Muzan himself.

"Oh yeah. Zenitsu! I forgot to say this, but thanks! I used the trick that you taught  me!" Tanjiro thanked Zenitsu for telling him a trick that is used in Thunder Breathing to catch up with Hantengu back at Swordsmith Village.

"If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be able to hack the demon's head!" Tanjiro smiled softly.

"Geez! Don't think you can change my mood easily!" Zenitsu smiled while looking up. He was proud that someone thanked him out of his greatness.

"So......any progress when I was gone?" Tanjiro asked did anything happen at the training grounds when he was gone.

"Because you were slacking, he doubled out training tenfold! I thought I was going to die, carrying all those wooden logs! You remembered the huge boulder we ran away from back in the death run? He made us push that giant rock up the hills! We had to, or that rock will squish us instead!" Zenitsu grabbed Tanjiro in the collar, blaming Tanjiro for skipping the training.

"Sorry....." Tanjiro apologized.

"Yeah, that guy had us blindfolded while he was throwing grenades and bombs at us! He gave us a wooden bat and told us to either dodge it or parry those bombs! How did he even get that many bombs?!" Zenitsu complained at Law's special 'training' . Zenitsu wondered if it was actually a training session or were they just sandbags for Law to release his stress on.

"Thankfully, somehow both of us could see those bombs coming. Well not all of them. But you get my point. We almost died." Zenitsu informed Tanjiro that both himself and Inosuke had not only caught the glimpse of Observation Haki but they could also use it now.
