Unexpected Visit II

"Here you go." Hinatsuru served Brook a hot tea alongside a kettle that she poured from. Hinatsuru is sweating. She's also in quite the shock. Suma and Makio watches from afar.

"Ah, thank you ma'am." Brook thanked Hinatsuru with a smile. Soon after, she slowly backs away as she starts feeling a little bit uncomfortable with the skeleton. All three of Uzui's wives are scared. Uzui noticed it.

"I forgot to inform you guys about my friend. Hinatsuru, Makio and Suma, this is my friend. His name is Brook. Brook, this three are my wives." Uzui introduces Brook to his wives .

"Eh?! You have three wives?!" Brook is surprised by this fact. This is his first visit on Uzui's house. So he didn't knew that Uzui is married, let alone the fact that Uzui got three wives. There's a bit of jealousy in Brook's heart, but he feel glad for his friend.

"That's an amazing feat. I didn't knew you were married at all!" Brook really thought that it's an amazing feat. To capture so many attention from girls is quite tricky. But not for Uzui since he's a ladies' man.

"Besides that, how's your injury?" Brook ask how Uzui's doing. 

"Me? Oh, just fine. The surgeon told me that he wanted me to exercise my left arm more after the surgery. I don't know why though." Uzui shrug his shoulder.

"Law-san might not look like it, but he's a qualified doctor. Believe in him. His treatment might be much more different than normal doctors such as Shinobu, but he's one of the greatest doctors to exist." Brook said that Uzui should trust Law.

"Anyway, what would Ronin be doing right now?" Uzui wanted to know what is Ronin doing. He had seen what Zoro could do and how he could defeat Sanemi and Iguro at once. Uzui knew even if he retired, the Voyagers could handle it easily.

"Umm...I didn't know." Zoro disappeared again. He did try to call him using River Snail, but he didn't reply nor call black. He's nowhere to be seen, like a ghost.

"He said that he's going to train. That's the last time he is seen." After the meeting, Zoro pretty much disappeared. Not giving a single fuck at all.

"Law-san is in the Butterfly Mansion. He's busy treating and administering meds to the patient. Maybe because Tanjiro-san just gained his consciousness." Law did go to the hospital to check up on Tanjiro.

"The red-haired kid? I heard some rumors. Is it true that the surgeon took him in alongside his friends as students?" Uzui requested for confirmation. Brook nod.

"I don't know if Law-san is a good teacher, but I'm sure they're in good hands." Brook sure that Law is training the three properly. Although he didn't knew that Law almost killed them, countless times.

"I sure hope so. The kid had a lot of potential within himself." Uzui could see how Tanjiro could grow in a battle. In right hands, he could become stronger. 

The kid survives an encounter with Lower Rank and Upper Rank. It's not luck, it's skill. He hold his ground against Daki, which is still impressive even though Uzui could easily beat her. Uzui lets out a sigh. Tanjiro is slowly catching up to him.

"Hey, Brook." Uzui spoke.

"What is it, Uzui-san?" Brook is all ears.

"Don't you remember? How we actually met?" Uzui recalled how both of them actually meet with each other.

"You almost gave me a heart attack, you know?" Uzui still remembered how Brook scare him so much.

"It's not my fault you were snooping around. You do stick your nose when it didn't belongs, right?" Brook shifted the blame to Uzui. 

"Isn't that what Shinobi do?"  Uzui defended his cause. He's a shinobi. Extracting information, assassination and spying on their enemies are the reason they are formed in the first place.

After the meeting is concluded, the Hashira had their own personal meeting. Sharing their opinions about the Voyagers. Uzui doesn't believe the Voyagers at all. He had a feeling that they are plotting something.

Uzui volunteered himself to gather any information he could find about the Voyagers. Even Ubuysahiki is curious about them. After they made a deal, Uzui is clearly didn't trust any of them at all. 

It's not like Ubuyashiki ordered Uzui to spy on them, but Uzui did it himself. He speculated that they must've hidden agenda. Most importantly, what did Muzan had stolen from them? What is it? Why is it so important to them?

If they are really as strong as what Giyuu, Shinobu and Rengoku said then truly, they could help them in their fight against demons. Most importantly, if there is someone that strong, how did they manage to lay low? And how did the Corps never heard of them.

The item that was stolen from them by Muzan must be indeed worth a lot to them. Enough to attract a group of people that is as strong or stronger than a Hashira to emerge from the shadows. 

There are few reports about Ronin that was spotted in Tokyo. Uzui wondered why did he go to such a big city, then when he turn on next page, he understand. There's a picture of half-torn gambling house that looks like a hurricane just passed.

The roof is gone, the entrance of the house is destroyed and a lot of bodies were also found underneath some rubble. Uzui thought that there's a tornado that went through Tokyo if it weren't something that surprised him the most.

The roof of the house is gone, as if it was cut by a sword. It made Uzui believe it more, seeing the cut is clean. And there's also few slash marks around too. What happened? Did he lose a lot at the point he's pissed?

Gambling house, so that why the Ronin is there. Most likely to score some jackpot and to win big. He then disappeared. He was last seen with a blonde man with a particularly weird eyebrows. So he got an ally. He's not alone.

Then, there's a picture of the Ronin taken by some randoms that had seen him with their own pair of eyes. The Ronin wore a white yukata with black details and a green cloud pattern on its bottom.

 He also wore a dark green jittoku haori with emblem of a black sun over a khaki gear, and zōri with a black strap. A black men-yoroi is strapped on his face, covering his face and hiding his identity. 

The men-yoroi looks vintage, it's not made recently. There's a possibility of the men-yoroi to be a family heirloom. Did the Ronin originates from a big clan? Finally, there's three swords that are strapped on his waist.

Why did he carry three swords? Uzui thought. It will only be hindering his mobility by carrying that much of swords. From the eye witness, it is said that he uses all three swords. Uzui call that bullshit.

Uzui decided to watch them from afar. Their mansion is not too far away.
