"I suppose for now, we could tolerate them." Giyuu lets out a sigh. He still didn't trust the demons, but he'll take Law and Zoro's word for it. Instead of causing commotions and complaining, it's better to do what they're here for. Time won't wait for them. They need to be stronger. Giyuu walked up to Zoro.
"I'll take your word for it." Giyuu would take up Zoro's word of guarantee without a doubt. Ever since the afternoon, Giyuu is quite different than before. Taking approaches that others won't without any hesitation. It's not like it's even Giyuu anymore.
"Tomioka, you can't be joking." Sanemi didn't believed that Giyuu would just accept it just like that. They're Demon Slayers, a Hashira! How could they collude with a demon? His pride won't allow it. Being all buddy-buddy with the creatures of the night that he promised to vanquish from this world.
"It's not like we have any choices left, do we?" Giyuu turn around and replied. Demons are getting stronger and so they have to get even more stronger in order to even the battlefield. They need a way to become stronger than ever, and beggars can't be choosers.
"We need to do something right now, or we'll be swept by the current and left aside. The world is changing, and so do or ways. If I could get stronger, than I don't care what it takes. As long as my humanity within me is intact." Giyuu expresses what he truly felt deep down. They have to change their perspective and ways of thinking.
"Can't argue with that." Muichiro shrugged his shoulder. Honestly, even Muichiro is surprised that Zoro kept a demon under his basement. Even making a truce with them. Zoro and Law gave their word that those two won't try anything stupid. It's not like he care anyways. Zoro's words is enough of a guarantee for him.
The atmosphere is so thick between all of them. In the tranquil embrace of the grasslands, a symphony of life unfolds beneath the shimmering gaze of the moon and the twinkling stars. The tall blades of grass sway gently in response to the soft caress of the breeze, their verdant hues illuminated by the ethereal glow of the celestial bodies above. Each party went silent for a while. The night breeze blows over the grasslands.
As the moonlight cascades down, it bathes the landscape in a silvery luminescence, casting long, stretching shadows across the undulating terrain. Each blade of grass becomes a slender silhouette against the radiant backdrop of the night sky, dancing in harmony with the whispering wind.
Although it is quite the unconventional method. Throughout the history of the Demon Slayer Corps, there's not a single mention of making a pact with demons. This is the first time such proposal was made. Giyuu knew that if they wanted to win, they need to think out of the box and must be daring.
"He got a point." Rengoku nodded his head in agreement. He find it hard to argue with the point that Giyuu brought to the table. It is a valid point. Times are changing. They cannot be stuck in past traditions nor pride. If they really wanted to end Muzan's reign of fear and terror, sacrifices must be made.
"You too? Rengoku?" Sanemi didn't expect that Rengoku would agree to that idea.
"I don't think that this would be a loss in our side. It's beneficial if you think about it." Rengoku sees this as a chance to spar with an Upper Moon. Other Hashira start sto agree with Rengoku and Giyuu.
"I suppose, this is the first step of humans and demons coexisting with each other." Shinobu's dream is slowly going one step at a time. She always dreamed of humans and demons accepting each other and become friends.
"This sounds lovely!" Kanroji spoke her mind.
*Shing!*
Rengoku unsheathe his Nichirin Sword with flaming sword guard. He looked at Gyutaro and slightly bow as a sign of respect. It caught the demon off guard. No one has ever done it to him personally.
