*Shing!*
*Shing!*
*Shing!*
I can't stand this!! This man......This human!!! No matter what I do...he won't stop sharpening that sword!! Gyokko had done everything he could, going as far as to blind Haganezuka's left eye, but the blacksmith didn't stop sharpehing the sword.
Even when I crushed one of his eyes, he didn't cry out, he just kept working instead! Gyokko is getting more and more infuriated. He tried everything to break Haganezuka's concentration, but it didn't work.
But what if I kill him instead? Gyokko had another brilliant idea as he swicthed to Kanamori instead. He might get some reaction if he did that.
"Achoo!" A sneeze stopped Gyokko from what he's doing. He looked behind him and was greeted by a blade, Muichiro's chipped blade.
*Swish!*
The blade made his way to Gyokko's neck. Gyokko used his Blood Demon Art to teleport himself to another vase. Gyokko almost got his neck decapitated by Muichiro's ambush. Tch, I missed. Muichiro gruntled.
"I thought you said you could handle him with one move. He still breathing, kid" Zoro taunted the young Hashira. Muichiro didn't think too much about that. Gyokko can't believe that Muichiro is standing in front of him.
"It was your fault at the first place. Your sneeze gave me away." Muichiro stared at Zoro. Irritation is written all over his face. It was Zoro's sneeze who gave his position away. Zoro just laugh it away like nothing happened.
"Achoo! Sniff! Sounds like a you problem" Zoro wiped his nose. He didn't know how, but out of sudden, he got a bad cold. Why is my nose so stuffy? I guess I'll ask for some meds from Law. The cold is irritating him.
"Next time, it won't happen. That was just a fluke." Muichiro replied. Next time, he won't let it slide anymore.
"Yeah, yeah whatever. Achoo!" Zoro wiped his snot on a handkerchief.
He got out of the vase! How? I have no idea this could happen! I thought he was dying, so I wasn't paying any attention. Gyokko looked over behind Muichiro. Another swordsman appeared out of nowhere. A backup arrived! So that's how!
No, but if you see the other way around, that's how I was deeply concentrating! Good! Gyokko applaud himself for concentrating really hard to the point he can't notice what was going on outside.
No...no...more importantly, why did you show up so casually? My attack should have paralyzed your body. Muichiro had countless poison needles that was thrown at him before like a hedgehog. He should be immobilized right now. Then, Gyokko noticed Zoro.
Why is the Ronin here?! He shouldn't be here. He didn't even know about this place! Did Joker gave us out? Earlier before, Doflamingo didn't say anything about Zoro here. Did he set us up? Possibly! Gyokko suspected that Doflamingo had laid a trap for them.
Whatever! I will wipe the floor with both of them! Gyokko grinned. Let's test how truly powerful are they! Gyokko pulls out a red vase. Muichiro rushed towards Gyokko with his chipped blade again.
"Lord Tokito!" Kanamori tossed a new katana for Muichiro. Muichiro immediately took that one
"Blood Demon Art: Octopus Vase Hell!" Gyokko manifest gigantic tentacles from his pots to restrain both Muichiro and Zoro. It resulted on the entire wooden hovel destroyed and the rest blown away.
*Ka-Boom!*
"Hyo-Hyo! This octopus flesh is very resilient! How about that? You can't cut it!" Says Gyokko, who's proud and confident of the durability that the tentacles could bring. The destructive power is not that bad if Gyokko says so.
Haganezuka was blown away. Instead of running away, he took the whetstone and continued on sharpening the sword without saying any single word. He's still sharpening? Is he stupid? Its not normal. It starting to freak me out. Gyokko sweatdropped. That doesn't matter! He got both of them within his hands.
"But that's alright! The Hashira comes first before that weird swordsmith! I got you both now! I went too easy on you before. This time I'll crush you and absorb you." The tentacles are wrapping tighter and tighter, trying to crush their bones.
*Slash!*
"Is that the best you can do? Achoo!" In a split second, Zoro unsheathed his sword and cut all of those tentacles with ease with Shusui. Gyokko was left stunned. Zoro didn't even bat an eye.
"One Sword Style: Yakkodori!" Zoro fires one more flying projectile made out of compressed air that takes a shape of a crescent right at Gyokko, which the Upper Five dodged out of the way. Tsk, this guy is much more irritating than a cockroach.
*Fwoosh!*
"Not gonna lie, I'm craving Takoyaki. Achoo! Say, is this tentacles edible?" Gyokko sweated from his forehead. Really? This man is thinking of Takoyaki right now? Gyokko's pride was hurt.
*Zrak*
*Sak!*
With a single fluid movement, Muichiro cut those tentacles in pieces, freeing himself and Kanamori who was also taken hostage. With a brand new sword and renewed spirit, Muichiro pushed forward.
"You...made a sword for me. You have my thanks....Kanamori." Muichiro expressed his thanks and gratitude with a blank expression. Muichiro's katana is blue diamond in color. His katana's handguard is rectangular with hollowed rectangles at each corner, all of which are gold in color.
"No....I just made it based on what your first swordsmith wrote down, so..." Kanamori just made it with the instruction that was given by the previous swordsmith of Muichiro, who sadly passed away.
He remembered the advises that the old man gave him.
Who can understand you? And all your troubles? How much pressure you're under,
how you worry when you can't remember things. And how you work so hard that you vomit blood.
Who will understand you? When I see the sword you used, I shed tears. I don't have much longer. I don't begrudge my end. But I can't help but worry about someone like you.
"Oh? Tetsuido made my first sword. But he died of heart disease." Muichiro remembered him. A gentle, keen, and understanding man who could see through Muichiro's stoic facade.
"Welp, kid. I'll give you one more chance. Kill him, with one move" Zoro grinned. He wanted to see whether Muichiro could accomplish it or not.
*Shlup*
More and more octopus tentacles is spewing out of the vase, heading towards their direction. With blade in hand, Muichiro draws all the breath that he could. Tetsuido, I'm sorry. I made you worry. But now...
I'm fine.
