"Ah! No need to thank me, Gyutaro-san!" Brook stated that what he didn't wasn't much. He's doing what he thought was the best for the siblings. Everyone deserves a second chance at life, a redemption.

"Where's your sister?" Brook didn't see Daki anywhere. The two siblings usually stuck like a glue together and they would never leave each other's side.

"She's still conflicted about the things that happened so far. She always believed that Muzan cares about her." Daki is being confronted by the fact that Muzan won't help her nor accept her back after the failure back at Entertainment District. She's in a state of denial. It's been weeks and she is still weeping about it. Facing the current reality.

"Ah, that's too bad for her. It must have been hard for her." Brook sympathizes with Daki.

"Still, I appreciate what you have done for us." Gyutaro told Brook that he was really grateful in behalf of himself and Daki. Gyutaro replied with a blank expression. When Law first revealed the existence of the two demons, there are mixed opinions about them.

Gyutaro and Sanji never get along well, due to both of them constantly roasting each other and the fact that Sanji tries to really get along well with his little sister which he really makes his skin crawl. He dislikes the pervert. Her little sister also disgusted by the pervert, she didn't consider him at all.

Zoro doesn't show a single sign of trust and always on guard when the Upper Rank Six is around. Zoro didn't trust them at the slightest. Although it seems that Zoro started to tolerate their presence nowadays.  Doflamingo and Law on the other hand, treats them indifferently. Law will keep his word as long as Gyutaro and Daki could be proven to be useful to them. Daki doesn't get along well with Law due to their past back at Entertainment District.

Doflamingo simply isn't bothered with them at the slightest. Doflamingo just wanted to see what happen to them and just goes along so long as it could entertain himself. He could kill them whenever he wants and deemed both of them to be weak. Gyutaro expected that kind of answer. After all, just how many people have clobbered and humiliated the Upper Rank 3?

Among all of them, only Brook treated them with kindness out of his heart. He's the only one who would sometimes entertain the siblings with music and lame skull jokes. Daki found it annoying, but Gyutaro doesn't think that his jokes are bad.

"It's nothing, really. Are you alright with that collar dangling around your neck?" Brook points out towards a black collar that's been strapped on Gyutaro's neck. As a precaution, they were being made to wear this collar that could inject Wisteria poison at any given moment. Courtesy of Law in case the siblings tried to do anything stupid.

"It's uncomfortable as heck. But at least it's better than getting stuck in the basement." At least they could roam around freely rather than get stuck in a cold, damp basement.

Due to the sibling's requests and Brook's persuasion, Law agreed that they were given around the house and the garden only in night time. They also finally moved out of the basement unlike  discord mods. Both of them got their own rooms to sleep in. Law gave them some books and other stuff to keep themselves entertained. The siblings never go outside in daytime and would go out in midnight.

"Law always took precaution so that it will not going to interfere with his plans. He took a large gamble by deciding to take you guys in. Which is quite strange. He would never took in uncalculated risk before." The skeleton explained.

"Really?" Gyutaro tilted his head.

"Yeah." Brook was sure of it.

"I have a question I wanted to ask you." Gyutaro got a question he wanted to ask Brook. From the sounds of it, Brook could guess that it's pretty serious.

"I've always wondered these questions ever since before I became a demon. But there has been no one that could answer it. Is it wrong for me to born weak, sick and ugly? Is it my fault that I was born in poverty? Is it my fault to exist?" Gyutaro look down, his mind reminiscing his early childhood days.

There has been no one by his side, except his little sister who would treat him like a human. Due to his face and eroded experience, no one has ever treat him with kindness, not even his own mother. Everyone condemn him, belittle, mock and humiliate him. Going as far as to throw rocks at him.

He never asked to be born with such a weak physique, he never wanted to be born with such an ugly face nor in poverty. The only one he could count on, was his little sister. Whatever happens, they will go through it no matter how hard it gets.

"It was never a crime to exist" Brook assures him.

"At the end, no one cares if you're poor, ugly or weak. None of that matters. What matters most.....is your heart" Brook continued.

Gyutaro didn't reply anything. Then he opened his mouth, telling Brook his deep and traumatic reason on becoming a demon.

"I still remember, the reason why I become a demon. I did it for my little sister. If I could save her life at that time, I'm willing to give everything. Even my humanity for it." Gyutaro opens his mouth. He became a demon out of desperation.

"I understand what you've been through. Losing everything in a blink of an eye. It happened so fast to the point that you didn't even notice it. You saw your chance, and you take it." Brook could see through the demon.

He thought that he had lost everything, the day he sees that his little sister scorched to hell. He didn't even know what to do. He was blinded by rage, killing the samurai and the lady who is responsible for this. But at the end, he cannot save his little sister. Until Douma arrived, giving them a second chance.

"Look at me now, an Upper Rank Six now is conspiring with the Demon Slayers. It's like a fever dream if you know what I'm saying." Gyutaro lets out a fake laugh. Brook could tell that Gyutaro is hiding his sorrows and sadness deep within.

"My friend, to be born weak, sick, or poor is not a fault nor a sin. What truly matters is how we choose to play that hand." Brook patted Gyutaro's shoulder, passed his wisdom.

"Things we've done before doesn't represent ourselves, no? There's still time for us to change, for the better. I believe in you." It strikes a chord in Gyutaro. In Brook's perspective, everyone deserves a redemption.

"Even for an ugly piece of shit like me? Even after everything that I've done?" Gyutaro looks up to Brook, asking the skeleton if he really means it.

"You deserved of love. You deserved kindness, you deserved a better life, you deserved a second chance." Brook smiled softly.

Tears started to form in his Gyutaro's eyes. This is the first time that someone had said those things towards him. Never in a hundred years, did someone ever uttered such words. Brook gave him hope, that somehow it will be alright soon.
