Tooth

They were thrown to the ground after Haganezuka throws them away. They lay down on the ground. Haganezuka doesn't pull punches, even when he's against a kid. His childish attitude could be seen from a mile away. Then, a mysterious figure approached Haganezuka from he back.

"Boys! Haganezuka's weak spot is his sides! Right here!" She ambushed Haganezuka from the back and tickled him on his side. The woman is Kanamori, one of the elder's attendant and loyal aide.

"Hahahahahahahaha!" Haganezuka laughed like a madman as the sword fall from his hands. His limp body fell down on the ground, paralyzed. Kanamori had come to save the day. She came at the perfect time.

"Oh! Kanamori! Long time no see!" Tanjiro seems to be surprised by Kanamori's arrival. Zoro seems to be displeased. He's really into the fight of Haganezuka against Tanjiro and Kotetsu. Kanamori had to be a joykill and ruin it for him.

"It's been awhile, Tanjiro. Tickling Haganezuka immobilizes him for a while. Let me explain." Kanamori greeted Tanjiro. Kanamori informs Haganezuka's weakness to Tanjiro and Kotetsu. Incase of something goes wrong. 

"Please, forgive Haganezuka. He was secluded in the mountains for training." Kanamori apologizes to Tanjiro for Haganezuka. The reason why Haganezuka is so muscular is because he's training himself so hard.

"Training?" Tanjiro tilted his head.

"Yes. So he can created a stronger blade so you won't die. He won't admit that, though." Haganezuka is here so he could make a stronger blade to fulfill Tanjiro's needs and requirements. So this old man is a tsundere? Zoro retorted.

"Didn't expect that from someone like him." Zoro spoke his thoughts. He never thought that someone like Haganezuka got a soft side like this. Tanjiro sweatdropped.

"You've been getting swords from him for a long time. And I think he was happy about that. Most swordsmen detest him, so he isn't in charge of the same ones for very long time." Kanamori explain why Haganezuka would do such a thing for him.

"Oh really?" Tanjiro had already expected it. With Haganezuka's attitude, it's easy to understand why some people can't go on with his as their personal swordsmith. He's attitude is not the easiest to handle of all.

"His interpersonal skills suck! That's why he never got married." Kotetsu added. That's why although he's 37 years old this year, he never got married. Suddenly, Haganezuka stand up instantly, signaling that he made a recovery.

*Boing!*

"Oh, he's back." Kanamori doesn't seem surprised.

"I will take this tarnished katana and polish it using the Nichirin Sword polishing art of the Haganezuka Family." Haganezuka offered to polish the katana to its original form. That's why he had been trying to get his hands on the sword.

"You should have said so from the start! We didn't trust you and all you'd say was "Leave it to me!" like some idiot who can only say one thing!" Kotetsu's venomous mouth kicks in, insulting Haganezuka. Zoro snickered as Tanjiro look at Kotetsu with worry on his face.

Haganezuka immediately went for Kotetsu and grab him by the collar of his cloth and raised him in the air. He was about to beat some sense into the boy with the potty mouth. Of course, Tanjiro and Kanamori went in to save the poor Kotetsu while Zoro laughed from the sidelines.

"That happened yesterday. Apparently, it will take three days and three nights for Haganezuka to polish that sword. He said that the sharpening method is so incredibly demanding that it's killed people." Tanjiro spoke as he's eating rice crackers.

"He'll finish it the day after tomorrow. I'm worried." Tanjiro expresses his worry.

"What about your training with the darn moss-head?" Sanji asks him about his training with Zoro. Right now, they're both enjoying some late night snacks while chatting with each other.

"Well, after I broke the doll, he said that I passed the test. He ended the training just like that. I didn't knew what happened after that." After he defeated the mechanical doll, Zoro congratulates him and said that he had passed. It was over just like that.

"I see." Sanji replied, munching on some rice crackers.

"Oh yeah, is it true that you guys are leaving tonight? Why aren't you guys leave tomorrow instead?" Tanjiro heard that Zoro and Sanji are going to leave the village tonight.

"Yeah. We originally came here because of the hot spring. That's our original plan. We're here to relax a little bit. We're supposed to stay here only for two days, until moss-head found you." Sanji explained.

"He was interested in you and took it by himself to train you. You've completed your training, so there's no point in staying here any further. We have mission to accomplish." Sani continued. Tanjiro understand. they also have missions to accomplish by themselves.

"You two, I know that you guys are having a talk, but..." Out of nowhere, Genya appeared out of nowhere and interrupted their chat. The man looks angry and holding his anger in for some reason.

"Why did you guys have to do it in my room?! Get out from my room!!" Genya shouted. Turns out that both of them are having a chat inside Genya's room all along with Genya being present all this time.

"What? This place is cool and comfy." Sanji stated his reason.

"I thought we are friends, why can't all of us have a friendly conversation?" Tanjiro thought that chatting inside Genya's room would bring up the atmosphere altogether. Well right now, it does light up the atmosphere.

"Don't talk to me like I'm your friend!" Genya feels uncomfortable talking with Tanjiro as Tanjiro acts buddy-buddy with him. He didn't like it.

"Huh? We aren't friends?" Tanjiro surprised to hear that. He thought that they were friends all this time.

"Of course not! You broke my arm! Don't tell me you forgot!" Genya still hold some grudge towards Tanjiro for breaking his arm after the Final Selection.

"You broke his arm?" Sanji was interested in hearing this story.

"That was necessary. You were completely in the wrong for hitting an innocent girl, Genya." Tanjiro stated his reason with a confident smile and shine on his face.

"Based reason. You're lucky Tanjiro didn't kill you instead, Genya." Sanji gave Genya a thumbs up. That's what he got for hitting an innocent lady.

"Both of you! Don't call me by my first name! Get lost!" As Genya shouted, Tanjiro noticed something was wrong.

"Huh? Your tooth. Wasn't your front tooth missing? At the hit spring...?" Tanjiro is surprise that the front tooth is there. Genya went completely silent as all three of them experience a complete awkward moment of silence.

"You must be mistaken." Genya didn't shouted. His demeanor completely changed. 

"I'm not mistaken. I still have the tooth." Tanjiro pulls out a tooth from his pocket.

"Why did you keep it, you weirdo?!" Genya is disgusted and both shocked at why Tanjiro is carrying his front tooth in his pocket.

"Maybe it grew back." Sanji interrupts.

"That's impossible. How could a tooth grew in such a short time?" Tanjiro calls that impossible. It went beyond logic that a tooth could do that.

"Well my captain did it." Sanji still remembered the moments in Thriller Bark. After they defeated Gecko Moria.

"Really?" Tanjiro shows an interest in the story.

"Yeah, there was a time he lost his front tooth. After he drank some milk, the tooth grows back." Sanji still remember how he is still thinking at how that could be possible. But he'd given up on that. He lives on the Grand Line, anything is possible.

"You two...get out!!!!" Genya had lost his patience.
