"Have you enjoyed your stay here than niece?" asked viserys breathlessly as he sat up with the help of zaenya, she watched as he groaned in pain lightly making her brows furrow. had she not noticed how sick her uncle really was?

brushing away her questions, she responded whilst adjusting his pillows to make him somewhat comfortable "...s'been alright i suppose" she mumbled out with a small shrug

viserys wheezed out a breathe as he opened his single eye to look upon the woman, a flash of daemon passed his sight, than a flash of alyssa flickered once more before it returned to zaenya making the king nearly startled "you do know..." he paused trying to catch his breathe "i won't be here for long ...it's only a matter of time before i am laid to rest.." viserys words took a somber change

zaenya sighed deeply at that, she hadn't spent that much time with the man to feel that break in her heart at the thought of him no longer breathing but she felt a bit sad knowing how his death would affect her father and rhaenyra "the gods will decide your fate uncle, do not force death so soon if not needed" said the woman as she took a seat on the bed, her eyes glazed over as her mind traveled to various places "you still have a final purpose to fulfill first before death seeps in, it would only break a heart or two if you were to die now"

viserys couldn't help but let out a tiny chuckle "since when did you become so wise?"

zaenya hadn't bothered to look at the man as she let a ghost bitter smirk grace her lips "i've always been wise uncle, you were just to busy noticing my faults"

a ping of guilt now pricked viserys "..it was my great mistake deeming you a disgrace to all zaenya.." he started off but zaenya shook her head cutting him short

"do not forgive nor ask my forgiveness at this very moment uncle, for i know the things i'm bound to cause shall be deemed unforgivable" she said bluntly snapping from her gaze to look at the mans confused face, her smirk only widened lightly letting the man stay in the dark "shameful even" she added on
