The Avengers arrived at S.H.E.I.L.Ds New York base the day after leaving, all of them tired and worn out from their month and a half in Texas. Non of them noticed the absence of the two young girls as they met up with Bruce and all headed to the conference room where Fury was waiting.

Once inside they all collapsed into the many chairs scattered around, each letting out a sigh of relief. While they waited for Fury many of the group let out yawns and groans. All of them were ready to curly up in their own warm comfy beds but knew they had to get through the meeting first.

When the Director finally walked into the room he was flanked by Maria Hill and Sofia slipped in too, taking a seat in between Bruce and Steve. The super solider smiled tiredly at the new scientist before turning to face Fury, who had his hands behind his back and his posture straight.

"So we have three in our custody and one killed himself on being captured. We do not know the details of our final victims final moments until Mockingbird gives us her report." Fury stated, glancing at the team.

"Where are Mockingbird and Angel?" Sofia asked, glancing around the room. "Do don't seem them." The others also looked around.

"Angel should have been with you." Fury said "But Mockingbird won't get back until-"

"Sir only one of the helicopters sent to get Agent Chalmers and the HYDRA body have arrived." Maria informed her boss, looking down at her tablet and holding a hand to her ear. "We can't get into contact with the second one, the one containing Agent Chalmers, it's lost."

"Then get it found!" Fury snapped.

"We trying Sir but we have another problem. We sent three cars to get the Avengers and Agent Lloyd, only two came back and Agent Lloyd wasn't in either of them. We can't get a lock on either vehicle containing the prodigies, they're lost Sir." Maria rushed as she typed quickly on her tablet.

All the Avengers were sitting up straight and wide awake, completely forgetting their lack of sleep. "How could you lose two vehicles?" Tony asked, pulling his Stark phone from his pocket and began typing rapidly. Sofia glanced worriedly around the room at the panic stricken heroes.

"Someone find them!" Fury yelled, sending Maria sprinting out of the room yelling orders into her ear piece. Clint and Natasha soon followed, both of the swearing and muttering things under their breaths. Bruce took Sofia gently by the arm and led her to the lab so they could begin a tracker as well.

Tony jumped up and began yelling into his phone to his no bodied butler while Thor went outside to travel up to Asgard, in hopes the gate keeper will be able to spot the two young girls who were missing. Steve also lest the room and walked into the main control room.

Everyone on computers were telling to one another, trying to find the youngest members of the team. They too were panicked like their heroic team and worked quickly. They all knew the girls fairly well after working with them for two years and often found themselves laughing with the two.

Everyone knew anything could happen to them while they were with HYDRA but they tried not to think of the worst. They knew doing this would only worry them more and could put the girls at more risk if they slowed the search. Not only that but Director Fury was counting on them to find his young prodigies.

"Sir!" One Agent yelled, causing Fury, Steve, Clint and Natasha to turn and look at him. "We have a transmission from Mockingbird to Angel, we're tracking the two sides now but they were moving so there is no guarantee that that's where they'll be."

"Let us hear it, it should narrow down some places." Fury demanded. The man nodded and Mockingbirds voice bounced through the room;

"Angel you need to get out of that car now it's full of HYDRA Agents ready to apprehend you! You need to get out no-ah!" The feed cut off at the scream and everyone stood frozen in their places. Whoever had them was hurting them.

"Find them now!" Clint and Steve growled, worried for their practically sister (Deanna to Clint) and sort of crush (Beth to Steve) although no one was meant to know about the crush.
