Bethany/Peggy was the second one to wake up. When her eyes opened she blinked a few times before taking in her surroundings. Once she caught sight of the S.H.E.I.L.D logo not to far from her, her eyes narrowed dangerously. Her sudden aggressive behaviour didn't faze Steve as he was sent in to interrogate her.
As soon as the Super Soldier entered the room he watched the tall girl as she paced the room, muttering to herself. Steve couldn't quiet hear the words slipping through the brunettes mouth but didn't question it, he could guess pretty easily the types of things she could be saying.
"Good Afternoon." Steve made his presence know with a formal greeting, hoping not to get on the wrong side of her straight away. Bethany/Peggy looked up and her feet stopped moving, her eyes were narrowed and fists clenched at her sides. The two stared each other out.
"Which one are you?" Steve asked, causing Bethany/Peggy to raise an eyebrow. "Cherub or Raven?"
"What's it to you?"
"Just so I can address you formally, makes for a more friendly conversation." Steve replies, taking a seat across from the still standing brunette.
"Did you not get the files, did you not read them?" The young woman asked, her eyebrow staying raised.
"Ah yes. So who are you? Agent Carter? Agent Heart? Cherub? Raven?" Steve fired off questions, wanting an answer from the attitude filled brunette.
"I'm Agent Margret Carter, Cherub if you must know." Bethany y/Peggy replied with a roll of her eyes. "But what's that information going to do for you? All you can do is address me now."
"And keep it on the files."
"Ah of course, the S.H.E.I.L.D files why didn't I think of that?" The woman mocked, as she began pacing again. "The files won't help you stop us."
"We've already stopped you, you're in our custody." Steve replied, now standing to his feet once more.
"Are we? I hadn't noticed." The sarcasm in the females voice was enough to make Tony cringe.
"Look why don't you just tell me who your boss is. Maybe if you cooperate your punishment won't be so bad." Steve tried to reason.
"I'm not telling you anything Rodgers." Bethany/Peggy growled, striding towards the blonde male. "And here's a tip, don't bother with the others. We won't tell you anything no matter how hard you try, so go and tell your boss to just give up!"
"I can't do that."
"Oh of course you can't, Captain America doesn't backdown from a fight."
"Okay listen, I'm trying to be nice but your attitude is t helping mine or your case." The soldier finally snapped.
"I'm not here to help you."
"You were!" Steve protested, causing the girl to look at him expectingly. "You were on our side!"
"I was never associated with S.H.E.I.L.D!" The brunette snapped "And I never will be!"
"But you were! Your name is Bethany Lloyd, code name Angel!" Steve tried but Bethany/Peggy wasn't listening. With a shake of her head she kicked her foot out, catching the Super Soldier on the chest. Steve stumbled back at the sudden force and recovered just in time to block his face from a punch.
With a sigh Steve grabbed the woman's wrist, keeping it in a tight hold so Bethany/Peggy couldn't escape. "Sorry." He muttered, as he injected the sedative into her system. The last thing the brunette was able to do was glare at the blonde before her eyes shut and she fell into a drugged sleep.
Steve picked up her limp body and gently lay her back on the hospital bed she had been resting in before hand. "Fury I got nothing other than Beth thinks her names Agent Carter, Cherub." He called down his ear piece as he left the room and made sure the door was locked.
"Not even a hint at the boss?"
"No, all she told me was not to try talking to the other two. None of them are going to give us anything."
