After the three hospital patients were moved into the S.H.E.I.L.D (some with a little difficulty) Fury made the decision to interrogate them as soon as they awoke from their drugged sleep. The Winter Soldier was the first one to wake up, so Fury sent his best Agent to interrogate the assassin.
Natasha walked into the white room James had been placed into, her head held high and her eyes a stone cold gaze. The male didn't seem fazed as the red head sat herself on the chair in the far corner, leaning forward and resting her fore arms on her knees as she did so.
"So Sargent Barnes."
"That isn't my name!" He growled, his eyes narrowing at the women.
"Then what is your name?" Agent Romanoff asked, her eyebrow raising in question.
"I, I don't know." The Soldier mumbled, his eyes flickering away from the other assassin slightly.
"Than how do you know I'm wrong?" The man stayed quiet, causing Natasha to sigh and shrug to herself. "You know, you're normally a lot more careful when on a mission, I've seen your work. What went wrong today?"
"Nothing went wrong!" Sargent Barnes snapped.
"Something obviously happened, you were close when the bomb exploded."
"It wasn't my fault it exploded."
"So it was the girls fault?"
"Cherub and Raven had nothing to do with the bomb to begin with." James replied, his eyes glaring daggers at the red haired woman.
"Then why were they there? In fact why were you all there, with a bomb?" Natasha asked, her eyes glaring just as many daggers.
"That's non of your concern."
"It's all of my concern when two of my friends were there too!"
"They aren't your friends, and rightly so." James replied harshly. Natasha jumped to her feet and drew her gun. She was used to this type of behaviour from people being interrogated but she didn't like the fact that the girls were involved and the Sargent wasn't giving her anything.
"You won't shoot me, your boss wants me alive."
"I can make a reasonable argument."
"What about the red on your ledger?" Natasha froze. "Oh yes we know all about that, the boss was very helpful with information. It's also like the question; what happened in Budapest?"
"Shut up Barnes."
"That's not my name!" The Winter Soldier jumped forward, his hand just missing to grab the red head. Natasha jumped back and slipped her gun back into its holster. The gun was quickly swapped for a needle that held a sedative inside, one that all interrogators had on hand.
With one quick movement the Russian threw the needle, hitting the soldier in the left shoulder. The liquid from the needle automatically flooded into the males system while he continued to try and grab the red head, who was constantly avoiding his attacks and jumping from one part of the room to another.
When James finally passed out Natasha let out a breath and left the room, making sure to lock it once she was outside. "Well that went well." Tony mused as the women entered the conference room. Three screens were up, one of each room where the trio all were being kept.
"I don't know what we expected really," Natasha sighed. "He's the Winter Soldier I'm surprised he spoke as much as he did."
"We got code names from him. One of the girls is known as Cherub while the other is Raven. We also know from the files that one will respond to Peggy Carter and one to Coral heart, the problem is which is which." Fury concluded.
"I'm sure we could work that bit out." Bruce replied, a sad smile coating his features.
