Chapter 22: Escape

"Sir!" An Agent yelled, running into the conference room. "We have a break out!"

"Who?" Clint asked, jumping to his feet and grabbing his bow. Everyone but Bruce and Sofia did the same.

"Agent Lloyd."

"Oh come on! Seriously!" Tony yelled as the team of five darted from the room.

"Okay I want reports, where is she and where is she heading to!" Steve ordered down his ear piece.

"You aren't the boss Captain." Fury replied.

"I understand that Sir but I do not want Agent Lloyd, Agent Chalmers or the Winter Soldier escaping the facility." Steve said, as they all rounded a corner.

"She's on her way to the Winter Soldiers room, better get thee quick, she looks lie, she knows what she's doing." Fury replied.

"We have another break out!" A voice exclaimed. "Agent Chalmers is on her way down to the weapons bay!"

"How the fuck has she escaped?" Tony asked with a huff.

"We've got it!" Clint announced, as he and Natasha split away from the group.

"These two are going to be the death of us!" Tony muttered.

"The maidens do seem to be a hand full now that they have been changed." Thor agreed.

"I'm guys, we have a bit if a problem." Natasha suddenly spoke up from her end of the ear piece connection. "Deanna isn't anywhere near the weapons bay,no ones been near it in the last couple of days."

"Not even inside?" Steve asked.

"Nothing been moved or taken." Natasha replied.

"Okay, okay. Meet us at the Winter Soldiers room unless anything else on Deanna comes through." Steve said as he, Tony and Thor reached the final corner to their destination. When they rounded the corner they all froze in place, shocked at the scene before them.

Several guards lay dead on the floor and the door to the room where the Super Soldier was help was broke open. "Someone find the location of the two Agents and the Winter Soldier!" Steve ordered sternly, "We need to stop them!"

"All three of them are heading towards the entrance!" Fury replied "They're killing every Agent in their path."

"Dos you get that guys?"

"Yeah we're on our way Cap."

Meanwhile the Winter Solider, Bethany/Peggy and Deanna/Coral were making their way quickly towards the exit of the building. Guns in their hands they made sure no one could stop them and get in their way. "Almost out!" Bethany/Peggy called, shooting an Agent in between the eyes.

As Deanna/Coral pulled open the door something round hit her hand, forced the door shut and rebounded quickly. "What the-?" The brunette female cut herself off at the sight of the Avengers all lined up with their weapons ready. Each had a determined look on their face.

"Well well well. The Avengers here to save the day again." Bethany drawled, linking her hands behind her back and rocking on her heels innocently.

"Look let's make it easy." Deanna/Coral said, her gun help up. "One of you makes a move and you get sh-" The blonde was cut off when the Winter Soldier grabbed her wrist and pulled her out the door. On her way passed Deanna/Coral grabbed her brunette friend and dragged her out too.

However before they could get far a bullet hit the males hand, causing him to let go of the blonde. Due to the fact the Winter Soldier was keeping Deanna/Coral up while he was running when he let go the two women tumbled to the ground as he continued running.

The male team members all grabbed the two protesting females and dragged them inside while Natasha watched Sargent Barnes continue his run. When he finally reached the gate to the facility he turned around and looked at the red head, who was alone near the entrance.

Natasha smirked and waved before disappearing into the building. Instantly the Soldier growled but left the grounds, unsure of what to do since he had only just escaped.
