Adrienne's P.O.V

I sat alone in my office, waiting for several reports I had asked for. Loki was keeping Narfí entertained in his room while I attended to the last bits and pieces of business for the day. It was around seven in the evening when someone knocked on my door, bringing from my trance.

I had been reading over the files that had been given to me only an hour before, making sure everything was perfect and ready. "Come in." I called, with a wave of my hand. The door creaked open and two figures stepped in and stood in the shadows near the closing door.

"Ah. Agent Carter, Agent Heart. I trust you have good news for me!" I chimed as the brunette took a seat in front of my desk. Deanna/Coral stayed standing up, watching me silently from a distance.

"Depends what you mean by good new ma'am." Bethany/Peggy replied as she leant back in her chair and kicked her feet up onto my desk. That was the only problem with the way we brainwashed the girl. Not only have their names changed but their personalities too.

I knew that the simple brainwashing and changing to assassins would be enough, but Loki insisted we changed their personalities too. He claimed that it would 'make it hard to break from the brainwashing'. At the time arguing seemed pointless so I agreed, and was having a little trouble getting used to the changed girls.

"I trust you completed your mission?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Which mission?" The brunette asked as I pushed her feet off my desk.

"Well did you get the Avengers to come?"

"Yes"

"Did you show them what you're capable of?"

"Yes"

"Did you plant the bug on Ironman's suit?"

"Yes"

"So you've completed your mission!" I exclaimed. "Was that so hard?"

"No." Bethany/Peggy shrugged, her legs now hanging off the one side of the sofa. I was beginning to wish that I hadn't changed their personalities as much as I did.

"Health reports?" I asked, not that I need them both girls were perfectly fine by the looks of it.

"Several bruises across the body and many bruised egos. Maybe some scratched and cuts and a very confused head." Deanna/Coral spoke up with a shrug.

"But you two look fine." I frowned.

"Not us, the Avengers." Bethany/Peggy rolled her eyes. "We're perfectly fine."

"Except your attitude." I muttered under my breath. "Okay then. Well done! Get some rest because you'll be training early tomorrow. I'm also getting you to meet your new partner on missions tomorrow so be ready, 6am on the dot!" I dismissed the girls and leant back in my chair.

"I'm hoping they completed their mission." Loki's voice drifted into the room, followed by

"What would happen if they didn't?" From Narfí. My eyes opened with a sigh.

"If they didn't then they'd be in trouble and have to do it all over again." I explained. Narfí looked at me and wrinkled his nose at the idea of being told off.

"All over again?" He asked in disbelief.

"Is that the only thing you're worried about, it's not even you!" Loki chuckled.

"I wouldn't want to do the same thing all over again!" Narfí exclaimed.

"It would never be exactly the same anyway. Something's would have to play out differently." I said.

"Did you expect them to fail?" Narfí asked, his green eyes looking up at me in question.

"I hope not, they're good Agents," I sighed. "But if worse came to worse and they did fail, I would not be very happy."

SORRY! I know I haven't updated but it's been hard, writing in Adrienne's point of view is always hard. Because I don't want to give away too much but then I want to give away enough.
