"The explosion that shook the city only an hour ago, has caused more panic than first predicted. Upon closer inspection to the site, fire fighters found three bodies, one male and two female. The trio were alive but all unconscious and their identities are yet to be confirmed. The big question is, How did they survive such a huge explosion?" The blonde reporter explained.
Clint sighed and turned the TV off. The Avengers hadn't been called to the explosion and Fury refused to let them out. To the Director the search for his two prodigies was more important, the fire crew could deal with a small explosion. However, nothing was leading to the location of Bethany and Deanna.
Suddenly a loud ringing echoed around the room before a male hologram appeared in front of the TV. The team jumped slightly but Fury said nothing. The one eyed male moved forward and nodded towards the hologram. The male was dressed in doctors scrubs with honey blonde hair and drop green eyes.
"Doctor Robert." Fury greeted with a curt nod.
"Director Fury." Robert replied. "I have information on the three people from the explosion."
"Wait what?" Tony spoke up, looking slightly confused. "How do you know doctors?"
"In every hospital their is a S.H.E.I.L.D doctor." Fury explained with an eye roll. "That was so if an Agent enters a hospital I can know where they are. Anyway, the male and females?"
"Yes, let me show you." Doctor Robert replies, walking away. The hologram moved too, almost like the doctor was holding a camera. When the movement stopped Robert appeared again. "Patient one." The image turned around to face inside a typical hospital room, white walls and white sheets.
Lying on the bed was a female. She was on her right side, staring at the wall in front of her. Her eyes were unmoving and blonde hair fell on the pillows gently. Her hands rested in front of her, her knees bent and curled almost completely under her. "Agent Deanna Chalmers." The doctors voice said.
"Poor girl hasn't spoken a word since waking up. She won't let anyone near her, whimpers and moves away whenever anyone enters the room." Robert explained. "She was the first to wake." The camera then moved again, away from the transfixed blonde. Everyone exchanged looks while they waited.
When the camera stopped Robert spoke up again. "Agent Bethany Lloyd." Everyones head snapped back to the hologram. The taller girl was lying flat on the bed, her eyes closed and hair spread around her head like Angel wings. Her breaths were short and her skin slightly paler than normal (if that was possible).
"She hasn't woke up at all but she will at some point today. Seems quite ridged while she sleeps but nothing broken."
"What about the male?" Steve asked, stepping forward slightly. It was hard from everyone to see the two prodigies in the state they were in.
"Ah, well he's just been sedated. Woke up and began fighting with everyone to escape. Never spoke a word to anyone as he tried to fight his way from the room." Doctor Robert explained as the camera moved. "His name; Sargent James Barnes, also known as the Winter Solider." Everyone gasped.
Sure enough when the camera stopped it stop on a male with a metal right arm. He was strapped down to the bed with leather bonds to stop him from escaping. His long brown hair was in a tangled mess and his body lay completely flat, almost like a spinal board was under neath him.
"So you have my two prodigies and the Winter Soldier?" Fury asked.
"Yes Sir, we are preparing them all for movement to your facility now." Doctor Roberts replied. "Once we can sedate the blonde."
"It's shouldn't be that hard." Sofia spoke up suddenly. "Deanna's quite small, making it hard for her to over power people."
"She uses her hight to her advance tho." Natasha said.
"And with her training she can over power most people, it's the same with Beth's training." Clint added.
"We'll be fine. You might want to prepare three separate non escapable rooms in the next hour, we'll be with you then." Robert replied before cutting off the feed.
"Why were the three of them near the explosion?" Bruce asked.
"Surely they would have moved away from the danger!" Thor agreed loudly.
"Unless the explosion was an accident." Tony shrugged.
"How could it have been an accident Stark?" Steve asked, rolling his eyes slightly as he turned to face the billionaire.
"Think about it." Tony began to explain. "They work for HYDRA, the bomb could have been planted by them."
"But then went off before they could get away." Bruce clocked on and jumped from his seat. "They were meant to be away from the bomb before it exploded, but it went off too soon."
"It was an accident, the bomb wasn't meant to go off straight away." Tony nodded.
"Rookie mistake." Steve noted.
"But the girls and the Winter Solider aren't rookies, they know what they're doing." Natasha said, slightly confusion lacing her words.
"So that means HYDRA is now recruiting rookies." Clint said.
"Either that, or it's being controlled by rookies." Fury confirmed.
