Epilogue

3rd person P.O.V

The team were dotted around the living room of Stark tower, only Bruce was missing. Clint was sitting on one of the arm chairs, Natasha on his lap; Steve and Beth sat on the three seater sofa with the Middle seat free; Tony and Thor were sitting on the two seater sofa while Deanna was leant up against the wall.

Everyone was in silence, until Bruce came running in with an envelope on hand. Everyone tuned to the curly haired doctor. "It's addressed to us, it's a DVD." Bruce said, slotting the disk into the player by the TV before standing next to the two seater. Deanna pushed herself off the wall and stood behind Clint and Natasha, her arms folded and legs spread shoulder width apart.

After a moment the TV screen lit up and Agent Ingly's face popped up on the screen. Bethany and Steve lent forward slightly as the rest of the team became a lot more interested than before. The deceased Agent said nothing at first, only stared straight down the camera that she has been recording with.

"If you are watching this now it means that I have most likely passed away but that's okay. You would have only found this disk if I had passed away for Fury planted it via my request. This recording will tell you everything you need to know and more, this is my mission. This is my first and last leadership.

"I'll start by explaining phase 3. Phase 3 was a back up plan for if and when phase 2 fell thought after Loki's first New York attack. Phase 3 was an idea to bring three young people into S.H.E.I.L.D, and train them up. They would be the most trusted Agents, quite possibly over the Avengers.

"The three people picked were Bethany Lloyd, Adrienne Horton and Deanna Chalmers." Jamelah's face disappeared and a picture of all three girl appeared in her place. "However only weeks in to the phase Miss Horton went hostile, running off with Loki of Asgard, helping him with his plans to take over the world.

"That left two young prodigies for S.H.E.I.L.D. to train. Angel and Mockingbird." Pictures of the girls in their suits then appeared. "That was phase 3, and it was accomplished when the girls took action on their training." Two clips then appeared side by side, both of Deanna and Bethany fighting in different situations.

"Phase 4 is the phase created in the hope that phase 3 would work, phase 4 is the phase I'm leading. HYDRA is still out there, unfortunately Cap and Romanoff didn't take the organisation out completely as we hoped. They will do anything to take down S.H.E.I.L.D completely and they won't stop at anything.

"This is where phase 3 joins phase 4. Mockingbird and Angel, this is more your mission than the Avengers. You two have been trained to the highest standards and you, whether you choice to believe it or not, are stronger than the Avengers. Your mission is to take down HYDRA. All its agents and allis.

"I will guide you when you need it, you'll find my clues. This is my message, this is my job, this is your mission. Don't let yourselves down, good luck. Your first clue is enclosed within the envelope." The TV went black and the DVD player ejected the disk. Everyone fell silent and stared at the blank screen.

Deanna then walked over to the discarded envelope and pulled out another, smaller envelope. She frowned and ripped open the second envelope. Inside was a picture and a second note. Deanna handed the note to Bruce who was standing near her. "The picture is HYDRA's best Agent." Bruce read.

Deanna held the photo and looked at it closely. "Who is it?" Tony questioned.

"The Winter Solider." Deanna whispered.

"Phase 4 is you two taking on the Winter Soldier?" Steve asked in shock.

"With your help." Beth said.

"How are we doing that?" Sofia asked as she walked into the main room of the Avengers Tower. "Isn't he impossible to track."

"Not if you know the right places to look." Natasha said, her and Steve exchanging looks.

"So what? We begin tracking him?" Tony asked.

"Yes, but until then I suggests you all begin training." Fury said also joining the group in the main room. "You'll need all the training you can get."

"Training alone won't help us." Deanna whispered as she followed the group down to the training area.

"What do you mean?" Clint asked the blonde, over hearing her whisper.

"It's the Winter Soldier." She sighed, everyone else now also listening to her. "He's known for being a killer, I don't think just training will help."

"What I'd like to know is why you were only given this mission now." Steve huffed. "We've been battling HYDRA for two years, why only now has Fury decided to give us Agent Ingleys note."

"Because he wanted to wait until the girls were fully trained." Maria Hill replied, walking in to the training room. "The battle between HYDRA over these past two years has been while the girls were still under trained, they are in fact still under trained."

"Then why now?" Natasha asked.

"Because now we know the girls can handle HYDRA first hand, they've been under their control, they have a subconscious memory of what they are like." Hill explained. "Along wit that they are stringer after fighting off the brainwashing, all you need is a little more training."

Don't worry there will a fourth book but I'm not quite sure what it will be called yet.
I'll post another note on this book when the fourth is up and running!

I hope you've enjoyed reading the girls adventures this far and in the next book their will be a lot more action and loads more fights don't worry, maybe a little romance will also be added!
