Giyu POV:

The demon. I'd found it. 

I quickly sent up my signal, a blue flash of light. The signal Oyakata-sama had told us all to use, in case of emergency. Well, clearly this mission was hard, so I wasn't about to risk it alone.

Tsutako wouldn't want me to.

I ducked behind a bush, careful not to make a sound as I observed the demon. 

He had spiky blonde hair and eyes like a thousand rainbow lights. He wore a jester's style outfit red as blood, his build tall and muscular. A strong demon, no doubt. I could sumerise that even before I spotted the character in his eye, a clear symbol of his ranking.

Shinobu POV:

I spotted the blue light in the distance, and raised an eyebrow. He'd found the demon already?

Suddenly, another light sounded in the oppisote direction. I stared at it. The exact same signal? Surely he wouldn't have gone all the way over there in just a few seconds. 

Two blue lights. Which should I follow?

Author POV:

Giyu was not aware of the matching doppleganger of his signal. All he could focus on was the demon, that seemed to radiate cold. Bloodthirst and lust. Just exactly who was he?

That was always the question when it came to demons, wasn't it? Who were they? Leftover remaints of feelings or pure monsters? Maybe they were both.
