Have you ever just thought 'What would happen if I just do it' and then the Nike slogan gets stuck in your brain?

Or do you ever just get the urge to argue with someone about something you know you're wrong about or it doesn't make any sense but you still continue to argue?

I have that urge right now and since Katie isn't here I go for the next best option...

Leah.

"Why can't it just be the same temperature around the world, like, you take the lowest temperature and the highest, then you find the middle and BOOM" I say.

"If that happened everything would eventually die" she says.

"But what if it didn't, what if it would just be that way" I counter.

"We need the temperature to change, if it didn't there wouldn't be any wind or very little wind and the water might not flow. We need temperature changes" she's always such a smart ass.

"Ok let's say that it didn't have any impact on anything, just the same temperature" I say. I know she's getting pissed but what can I say?

I like arguing/debating.

"Life doesn't work like that and that's not how it is" she's totally done with me.

"But wha-" I don't even get to finish.

"God I wish there was an off button on you" she says. I find it a bit rude "Go annoy Katie or something" she walks away before I can respond.

But that's what I do, I go on a quest to find Katie and when I do she looks like she's in a good mood.....

Too bad.

"Oi Katie" I call her.

"What's up mate" she asks.

"Wouldn't it be nice if we had the same temperature everywhere in the world" I ask her "Leah just got pissy when I asked her" I tell her.

Maybe because I worded it differently.

"If it was possible and wouldn't have any consequences......then yes, that would be great" see this is why she's by bestie, she gets me.

We walk towards the pitch and start warming up while talking about potential ways to make the world better.

Today we just have a light training since we're playing a match tonight, it's the last match before going to camp for the euros and I'm going to try to leave Harry at home with El. She's basically his other mum, he's even started calling her mummy, so I think he'll be fine.

After the euros, El will be moving in with us since we'll have reached one year together on the same day we play against Norway.

"MAMA" I look up and see Harry running towards me with tears in his eyes, I hope I don't have to kill anyone.

When he reaches me I scoop him up and ask "What's up buddy, why are you crying and where's mummy" that's when I notice El walking over to us holding his dummy.

"Beth bastard" he says and I can't help but laugh, I'm really proud of myself for teaching him that.

Once El reaches us she puts the dummy in his mouth and gives him a kiss on the cheek.

"What's Beth done" I ask her, I know the reason is probably stupid but I suppose I should at least know it.

"They were kicking a ball back and forth and she didn't let him score" she says making me burst out laughing.

"Seriously bud" I laugh "You just keep practicing and one day you'll be scoring against her" I kiss his forehead, although he doesn't appreciate my lack of sympathy so he slaps me "OI, don't slap me, I didn't do anything" he knows he's fucked up since I never scold him. I put him down since he's being a little jerk but I take his hand and we go to get ready to leave.
