Nesryn flicked her head up as a blonde boy unexpectedly stepped into the room followed by two adults. He was about the same height as Irina with a sun bear tattoo on his upper arm signifying that he had a spirit animal.
Olvan introduced them and they sank into the armchairs next to them. Naveb looked like he had climbed a mountain and swam the ocean. Nesryn didn't know that she was staring at the boy until she saw Tarik's face. She quickly glanced away from him and tried not to blush.
I wonder how long he is staying here she thought as she followed her parents to where she would be sleeping.
