The Fox in black armor

A couple weeks has passed since Makoto and Sakura first stepped foot on the Legacy. They were shocked to see this crew was not how they picture pirates to be.
Rouge wasn't kidding when she said she would put them to work.
Sakura would complain how tired she was at the end of every day.  Makoto on the other hand actually enjoyed the task given to him. It kept him busy and distracted him from the issue both he and his sister had.

The only thing he would like less of, was his encounters with that shorter blonde man. They were constantly bickering. Rosinante loved taunting the giant of a man, loved making him angry. He went out of his way to poke the giant bear of a man. Any excuse to get Makoto close to him. He may have formed a small crush on the large man.
~~~~~
In the spare room he shared with his sister, Makoto pulled the chain that held two rings out from under his shirt. He was deep in thought as he held the rings in his hands.
Sakura had walked in seeing the far off look on her brother's face, as he played with the rings. "Hey Makoto." She called which broke him from his thoughts "Everything alright?" He asked siting up giving his sister his full attention.
She nods "just got through speaking with the ships navigator. We should be at the next island in a few days."
Makoto sighs "I see."
She sat down next to him on their shared bed. "You know we can't stay here. We can't trust these pirates"
"I don't know about that, sis. They seem different than the pirates we have come across in the past. Maybe we should stay"
She narrowed her eyes at her older brother "you know very well why we can't stay."
Once the Legacy was docked, Makoto and Sakura left. Rosi was slightly sad to see the giant go. He and Edward stayed on the ship this time.
Ace on the other hand, once he stepped off the ship, flashing that charming grin of his, instantly had a crowd of fan girls and boys surrounding him. They were all fighting for his attention.
Rouge rolls her eyes as she slipped past him. This happed so much that the siblings were used to it by now.
She wondering around killing time while also trying to recruit more people. After all Umiko said they had a week before the log pose resets.
~~~~~~
Ace was laying the charm of strong. Flirting with the crowd, that was until he spotted a small and adorable blonde haired young man trying to maneuver through the crowd that gathered.

Ace grins as he watched him dart in and out, apologizing when he bumped into someone, which was a lot. The blonde sighed in relief when he finally made it out of that crowd, with a few minuets to spare. Luck was finally on his side today that was until he felt a very tall presents behind him. He gulps before slowly turning to face the being who's shadow towered over him. He nervously looked up at the dark haired man who was now leaning down towards him with a sly grin on his face. He reminded the blonde of a black fox.

"What do we have here? A cutie trying to run away from me. That's such a shame"
The blonde blushed 'cutie?' Was he talking about him. He looked behind him and saw no one. Though the crowd was now glaring at the poor blonde young man out of jealously. How dare he hog all of Ace's attention. "I-I sorry sir, but I need to get going." He quickly rushes off, his face was on fire. There was no way he was flirting with him.

Ace didn't know why, but this cutie had caught his eye in ways no one else had before. A smirk made its way onto his face, which caused the crowd to melt. Ace ignored them. He had a blonde to find.

Elijah groans when he finally made it to work. He really tried to not be late, but that fox made him be late anyways.
"You're late, boy" the owner scolded him.
He shrank down as he hung his head "I'm sorry, sir. I really tried"
He sighs and shakes his head "well it can't be helped. We are short staff again."
Elijah looked up at his boss in shock "wait Mandy and Jerry didn't show up again?"
