A Mother's loves

Ichiro and Jiro walked into the throne room once again, Alexis right beside them. Their parents sat on the thrones, looking down on them once again. "I assume you came to tell me your plan failed. The king would never want you to marry his children now and you have doomed this island." The queen sneered.

"You're wrong, Maman. We won and sent him packing. His son is dead." Ichiro says. Their mother's face twists in anger.

"You really have doomed us all you idiotic worms!" She hisses.

"They won't be coming back, Maman." Jiro says.

"How can you know that? Pathetic children. Get out of my sight! Leave with those filthy pirates and don't come back."

Alexis growls. "You will not speak to them like that!" she demanded.  "No mother should ever treat her children the way you clearly have." She spoke up gently pulling them behind her. "A mother protects and will sacrifice herself long before she ever allow harm to fall upon her children." Alexis was disgusted with this woman. She will not allow her to mistreat these boys.

The Queen huffs. "And who are you to order me around? You come into MY castle and try to give me demands?"

"Maman (mom), please. She's here to help." Ichiro pleads. Alexis gave the boys a look.

"Let me handle this." She looked up at the queen.

"Non." Ichiro says. Jiro shushes him.

"I am the one who has this island under my protection because my children ask it of me." She glared at the queen, "I am Portgas D Alexis. Emperor of the Sea. I do not take kindly to those that disrespect my children or their partners." She bluntly said.

The queen glares. "I don't care who you are. If you want these pathetic and useless children then you may have them. Honestly, all they were asked to do was marry to save the kingdom! That useless boy was too scared of having another man fuck him that he ruins the chances this kingdom had at salvation."

Alexis narrowed her eyes. "I could just let the world know this place is up for grabs and let any one have their way with this place. After all, I just have to say the word. Or I could easily have you beheaded for abuse of power or dethrone you all together." Alexis threatens. "The possibilities are endless really. Since you obviously can't protect your own children and people. You have no power to do anything against me. So yes I will be taking your children under my wing." Alexis gave off a very intimidating aura as she let a little of her conquers haki seep through.

The king clears his throat. "That is quite enough. I have let you reign unchecked for too long and this is too far. We will accept the help she offers because we cannot let our people be destroyed. As rulers, our people are our priority. I have let you abuse our children for the last time. I should have stopped you a long time ago, and it is a miracle they are as kind as they are."

"How dare you!" The queen hisses at him.

"Tais-toi, espèce d'idiot (Shut up, you idiot)." The king says to her. The queen gaps. "I am no better as a parent because I let you do those awful things to them just to keep you as close to happy as I could, but that was the wrong decision. I cannot let you exile our boys after they and their friends have saved us."

Alexis smiles at the king. "If you wish to negotiate with me, I'm sure we can come up with a mutual benefit to this arrangement." She offered to the king as she flat out ignored the queen.

"I am willing to make arrangements with you. The queen will not be involved in this. And to my boys, I am so very sorry. You are free to come and go as you please, and I will ensure the island is here if you decide to return to us." The king rose from his throne. "If you will follow me, we can do this in a more private location." He says to Alexis. The boys look at her, as if asking what they should do. They had already decided they would be leaving, living out their days as pirates with the women they love.
