Chapter 9 *LEMON*

Mia walked down the stairs to the party, and was trying to remain low as to not draw attention to herself.

But she had his attention.

Bucky Barnes.

Steve noticed the shift in Bucky, and followed his gaze, his eyes widening.

"Buck. Don't." Steve warned.

Bucky looked at Steve. "What?"

"With her. Just don't." Steve shook his head.

Bucky shrugged. "I honestly wasn't planning to do anything with her."

Steve looked taken aback. "Really?"

"Yes. Really. I'm not the same guy I was back then Steve." Bucky says as they lock eyes.

Steve puts his hand on Bucky's shoulder. "I know Bucky. All I'm saying is she is Tony's daughter. If you were together and happy it'd be different, but if there was one person off limits to everyone, it'd be her."

"I know." Bucky answered as he looks back to Mia, and doesn't take his eyes off her.

Mia descended the stairs and Thor was at the bottom waiting for her.

She giggles.

"Allow me to accompany you?" Thor asked as he held out his arm.

Mia nods as she takes his arm, wrapping her right arm around it and placing her left hand on it.

Thor lead Mia deeper into the party, but Bucky never lost sight of her.

She mingled, even though she was uncomfortable, eventually Thor left her side, as she was next to her father and Pepper.

"Gentleman! Enjoying the party I see?" Thor asks with his arms wide as he walked up to Steve and Bucky.

Bucky stayed quiet but raised a brow.

"I don't think it was a voluntary thing." Steve answered.

"The party wasnt. But I brought Asgard Ale!" Thor said as he produced a wine bottle.

Steve and Bucky smile as they hold up their cups.

Thor smiles back as he pours the super soldiers their cups.

"Better be careful. Too much of this stuff and we'll be drunk." Steve said as he took a sip.

Bucky said nothing as he took his sip, but watched Mia get a margarita from the bar which she started drinking from as she smiled and laughed with her father and Pepper.

Neither knew what the night had in store for them.

~ ABOUT 3 HOURS LATER ~

3 hours into the party and it was safe to say that Mia was thoroughly drunk.

Most of the occupants at the party were somewhere between tipsy and drunk though.

Mia smiled and giggled, learning that she was way more confident when she was drunk than her sober self.

And she somehow found her way to the super soldiers.

She laughed. "What are you guys doing sitting over here by yourselves?"

"Parties aren't really Are thing." Steve smiled.

"Mine either." Mia said as she dramatically sat down in the chair next to Bucky.

Bucky raised a brow. "You good?"

Mia smiles a big smile and laughs as she nods.

"Oh you are drunk." Steve laughs.
