Chapter 30

"AMELIA!" Her mother screeched out.

Mia covered her eyes and Bucky's. Not that Bucky wanted to look in the first place.

Here her mother was, naked on Michael's bed.

"Amelia. You weren't suppose to see that." Her mother said as she quickly covered with a robe.

"Oh my god mother." Mia said.

"It's not what it looks like?" Her mother said, although it came out more like a question, she didn't even believe her own words.

"Mother. Tell John." Mia said sternly, as she grabbed Bucky's arm and pulled him to her room.

She shut the door and locked it. Falling apart in Bucky's arms.

~ THAT NIGHT ~

Mia had cried herself to sleep in Bucky's arms.

It broke his heart.

He went downstairs, and judging from how she and John were, he'd guessed that she didn't take Mia's warning, but that was Mia's issue and he'd let her deal with it.

"How's Amelia?" She asked.

"She's asleep. Not feeling good." Bucky answered.

She nods and looks down, not saying anything else.

"I have a debriefing with the Avengers." Bucky said, then he walked out the door.

~ DEBRIEFING ~

"Natasha has been scoping his Instagram. We believe we have the next victim based off Mia's theory. Girl named Jessica Adams. We're going to be putting her family into hiding tomorrow, until we can get enough evidence to put Michael away." Tony informed the team.

Bucky nods.

"Buck. Here's the report on John and Justine Morgan. They were murdered. Not too long ago. Michael went straight into foster care, his first home is with Harmony and John." Steve informed.

Bucky nods. "Mia walked in on her mother naked on Michael's bed."

Tony's eyes bulged out of his head. "Oh my god. Is my daughter okay?"

Bucky nods. "Cried herself to sleep."

Tony nods. "I'll call her in the morning. Okay team. Here's the plan......"
