TW: Smoking, mentions of killing
LGBTQ+ Themes (From now on, I'm not going to be putting this at the start of the chapters, so...)
I was still waiting for the fact to sink in. The fact that my father had put me in charge of the younger Death Eaters. I never thought he would do that after I killed Malachi and escaped.
I slept in that morning and went to lunch. I noticed that the two people from the meeting were there, at the Slytherin table. Mattheo saw who I was looking at "They joined the school this morning. Blake and Tristan Roberts, 5th year"
"Do you know if they are twins?" I asked taking a sip of tea
"I don't know" He glanced over at them. The girl was reading and the boy was writing something while talking to her.
I glanced down at the tea "Did they change the tea? It tastes different"
"No, not that I have noticed" Theodore replied and eyed me with a worried look covering his face.
"I'm fine," I assured him
(Theodore's pov)
I picked up a couple books from the library and dorm before I went to the Astronomy tower to work on some essays and other stuff. My mind kept going back to Circe and I couldn't focus. I kept thinking that someone had put something in her drink. I stood up and went to the ledge, pulling out and lighting a cigarette on the way to calm myself. I stood overlooking the grounds and rested my hands on the railing. I suddenly felt two arms wrap around me from behind. I was about to pull away when I heard his voice, "It's only me," Mattheo said calmly as he pulled me into him and rested his chin on my shoulder. I leaned back into him and sighed bringing the cigarette back up to my lips. When I breathed out again Mattheo pulled away slightly and gestured his hand towards the cig "Do you mind?"
"No" I replied as I passed it over to him. He took it and breathed it in before handing it back to me. He went to stand beside me and I slowly leaned into him as he wrapped his arm around me.
"You stressed?" He asked quietly
I shook my head "Just worried" A split second later he had apparated us back to the dorm. I could see out of the corner of my eye that all the books and papers that were on the tower had been brought back too. We layed next to each other on his bed and he turned his head to glance at me. He grabbed the cigarette again and put it out.
"What are you worried about?"
"Circe" I replied softly
His eyes glowed green for a second "She's fine"
I shook his head "No. She's not ok"
"Theo" Mattheo sighed quietly "I don't know what else to tell you, I just checked in on her and she's fine"
(Circe's pov)
I was sitting in the library when someone sat across from me. I looked up to see Blake, the girl who was at the meeting and started school here today. "I wanted to formally introduce myself" She started "Blake Roberts" She held out her hand
"Circe, Riddle" I replied "And sorry, I'm not big on handshakes, or touching people in general"
"Germaphobe?" She asked
"No, it's nothing you need to worry about right now"
She nodded her head once then got up and glanced back at me "And I apologize about my brother. Our mother died when we were young and we were homeschooled. He still has a lot to learn, especially about respecting women" She gave me a small smirk and walked away
