(Still Theodores pov)

I thought about it "He disappeared right before we found you the night of the event"

"And you didn't think to go looking for him?" Circe asked

"Thomas claimed we needed to find you and Indu"

"What do you think happened to him?"

"I don't know. Do you want to check the Common room or dorm to see if he's there?"

"Sure"

(Circes pov)

I had a bad headache and there were still a couple of blank spots that came and went. We checked the common room and his dorm but found nothing before we returned back to my dorm.

The headache became worse as I thought of all the things that could happen to him. Then my mind shifted to all the things my father could do to Indu. I frowned. My father had ruined so much of my life, I couldn't let him ruin another thing, I suddenly felt a deep hatred for the man. I wanted him dead. But at the same time, he was my father. But he never loved me, he used me, used my brothers, used everyone as pawns in his own game. Could I kill him? I knew he had horcruxes I would have to destroy but how would I actually kill him? How could I-

"Are you ok?" Theodore interrupted my line of thought "Your eyes are red and there are shadows covering the walls" He pointed out

I shook away the thoughts. I knew I couldn't do it "Yeah, just thinking"

The weekend came quicker than I would have liked. I told Indu that my father wanted to meet her so, when it came time I brought her to meet my father. The boys came too and waited outside the doors, in the hallway.

I was allowed in the room for half of it and everything seemed to be going well until he forced me to leave the room. I asked him why I needed to leave the room but he just glared at me until I made my way into the hallway. Indu came out 10 minutes later. We immediately went back to the dorm and she explained that my father had asked her about me and my brothers, then about her powers, she told me that she told him that she had regular magic.

Classes started back up that monday and it felt weird to be in classes when I already knew pretty much everything. In Defense Against the Dark Arts the teacher told us we were going to be dueling today so we should choose a partner. I raised my hand. "Yes, Circe?" The professor called on me

"Can I sit this out today?" I asked "I assure you I am a great dueler but I would rather sit this one out today"

"Circe it is required for a grade"

"Professor I would rather do an essay than this, I just... can't duel today. Please?"

He was quiet for a second "Ok, fine you can sit this one out today and you won't have to do an essay, your just going to have to do well on your test at the end of the year"

I nodded my head "Thank you professor"

Later that week I was in the Slytherin common room with the boys, Indu, and Olivia when Liam suddenly appeared by the stairs. Mattheo immediately got up and pushed him into the wall, a dagger to his neck. "What is this about?" Liam asked

"Where have you been?" Theodore asked, coming up beside Mattheo

"You ditched us at the ball" Mattheo added
