Rhaenyra and Aemond have to listen to some uncomfortable truths. I hope you guys like it. 🥰

Aemond had been pleasantly surprised at the way Visenya had handled all the lords and the children after discovering what they had been doing. She had made it clear that abusing the weaker was not permitted and she would handle it personally if it ever happened again. The children who had been bothering the stablehand's daughter had been punished and their parents had been made aware that she would not be so lenient the next time. This was the first time he had seen someone from the royal family pay so much attention to the common folk. His parents had never cared much for the common people of Kings Landing, and if he was being honest he had not paid much attention to them either.

"You do not speak much, do you?" The other version of his sister gave him an amused smile as she stepped beside him. "I think I have only heard you speak a few words since you arrived."

"I do not have a lot to say." And he was sure she did not want to hear what he had to say either. Aemond knew that his sister had told the other woman what he had done, he had noticed how closely she had been watching him since then. "I just want to be left alone until the gods decide it is time to return us to our own world."

"I do not think that will happen if we just leave you alone." Rhaenyra's face was still amused. "If they want you to learn something, they are not going to allow you to leave until you learn it. So leaving you alone will not be an option."

That is what he had been afraid of. He had no issues speaking to the children, they were actually pleasant to him. Even Aria was nice, mostly because she still wanted him to show her his missing eye. The adults were another thing entirely, they looked at him like he could not be trusted. He did not blame them for not trusting him, he was surprised they had not imprisoned him for what he had done.

"Rhaenyra told me what happened, well, what she believes happened since she was not there." Aemond tensed, knowing this conversation was not a good idea and there was no way for him to get out of it. In this world Rhaenyra was queen and empress, she was free to do as she pleased. "I have to admit I am surprised, you do not seem like the murderous type."

"No?" He turned to her, an annoyed look on his face. "Then what do I seem like to you?"

"You seem angry and hurt." She crossed her arms over her chest. "You remind me of myself when I first left Westeros."

"Did you kill someone too?" Sarcasm dripped from every word.

"I killed many someones, but none of them were my family." She did not appear intimidated or even a bit upset by the conversation. "I was angry, but I would never kill someone from my family unless it was a last resort. I even cried when I found out about Aegon's death, even if I never had a good relationship with my brother, he was still my brother and a child."

"I am sure my sister would celebrate mine and Aegon's death."

"Can you blame her?" Aemond frowned at Rhaenyra's calm words, it was like she was talking about the weather. "She is the heir and your brother took her throne, she miscarried her daughter and a few days later you killed one of her children. Should she not be upset?"

"Aegon is the rightful heir, he is the eldest son." He was repeating his mother and grandsire's words, knowing he did not believe them, but refusing to back down.

"From what I have been hearing about Aegon, he is an awful king, even the gods told you so before bringing you here." Rhaenyra let out a tired sigh. "I am not saying you do not have reasons to be angry and to be hurt, after all, you have been overlooked your entire life until you were needed." She took a step closer to him. "But right now, Rhaenyra is the one grieving the loss of her son. Have you even apologized?"
