Aemond returns to Dragonstone to explain some things to Rhaenyra, who is not too pleased with the news. Aemond moves to save some of his family members before is too late. Jace sees someone in Dragonstone he was not expecting. I hope you guys like it 🥰.

1 week later.

Rhaenyra had read the letter four times, wanting to make sure she had read it right and hadn't missed anything. News had reached Dragonstone of Daemon, Rhaena, and Joffrey being attacked by Aegon and Aemond and Rhaenyra's heart had sank. She had been ready to get on Syrax and go to see what had happened. Before she had been able to there had been a letter from Daemon, letting her know that Rhaena and Joffrey had arrived safely to the Eyrie. Rhaenyra had written to her cousin who had responded immediately and confirmed that her son and stepdaughter were doing well at the Eyrie. She was hoping that Rhaena and Joffrey would write to her son would write to her soon. Rhaenys and Baela had gone to Driftmark, Corlys had also left and Jace was still not speaking to her.

There was a knock at the door before they opened and one of the nursemaids walked in, a crying Visenya in her arms.

"I apologize, your grace." The woman's look was very apologetic. "The princess has been crying and no one has been able to settle her."

Rhaenyra moved towards the woman and took her daughter, kissing her head, before looking at the woman. "Do not worry, you may go. I will take care of her."

The woman bowed before leaving and Rhaenyra's attention returned to her daughter. The little girl had fat tears running down her face, as she sniffled. Visenya had been unsettled for the past few days, and it seemed to get worse as the days passed.

"What is wrong, little hatchling?" She ran a hand over her daughter's head, before checking her forehead. She wanted to make sure Visenya wasn't ill, but the little girl did not have a temperature. "Do you not feel well?"

"I'm sad, Muña." Visenya laid her head on her shoulder and played with her hair.

"Why are you sad, my love?"

The little girl shrugged and did not say anything else. Rhaenyra paced the room, running her hand up and down Visenya's back, hoping to calm down the girl, but her daughter continued to fuss and Rhaenyra could tell something was wrong.

After two hours of trying to calm down her daughter and not succeeding she was about to pull out her hair. There was another knock on the door and Ser Erryk entered, closing the door behind him and lowering his voice.

"Your grace." He looked at Visenya before turning to look at her. "Your brother is here, he is requesting to see you, say is urgent." The man shifted nervously and looked at the small girl in her arms again. "He is also asking you to bring Princess Visenya with you."

Rhaenyra frowned, not liking the idea of taking her two name day old daughter to see Aemond. But Aemond had not seen Visenya in over a year, the last time he saw the little girl she had been six moons old. After that day he had never asked to see her again, Rhaenyra knew her brother was aware she was uncomfortable any time he was near Visenya. If he was asking for her to bring Visenya that meant something was wrong. She nodded at Ser Erryk who walked in front of her, the man knew that Aemond helping them was a secret and no one was supposed to know.

They made it to one of the smallest caves and Rhaenyra handed a fussy Visenya to Ser Erryk. "Stay here." She could tell the man did not approve. "I want to know why he wants to see Visenya before bringing her over."
