1 month later

Aemond woke up with a smile on his face, the same he had woken up since marrying Visenya. His beautiful wife had a way of making his life better, even when she was driving him crazy. They had stayed in Lys a few weeks and Visenya had enjoyed everything she saw in the city, except for the slaves. She had bought several books about the arts of pleasure, saying that she wanted to be informed. All her information was going to be the death of him, she had already implemented a few of the things she had read in the books.

After leaving Lys they had traveled to Pentos, where they had stayed with Daemon's friend. Aemond hated the man and his son, who spent more time lusting after Visenya than doing anything else. The two men had taken one look at his wife and become love-struck, proclaiming her the most beautiful woman in the known world. The magistrate's son had asked Visenya to wed him once, causing him and Aemond to come to blows. He had almost killed the man, which caused a rift between him and the magistrate. The man had even sent a raven to Daemon and Rhaenyra complaining about his actions. He knew that he would not be able to stay there after that incident and he and Visenya had left for Braavos and had been there since then.

They were having a good time and Visenya had already bought several things. They had bought so many things in all the cities they visited that Aemond had to buy a ship to transport them all back. He also paid a crew handsomely to take care of their goods and to transport them to Kings Landing once it was time for them to return. They would be returning home in a fortnight.

Aemond frowned as he looked around, realizing that his wife had been up for a while and appeared to have left their chambers. He pulled on the cord and called for a bath, making sure he was quick before going to find Visenya. He found his wife in the gardens, eating with the Sealord's wife.

The woman stood up the moment she saw him and fell into a curtsy. "Prince Aemond."

"My lady," He nodded a the woman before kissing his wife. "My love."

"I am glad you finally got some rest." Visenya gave him her sweet smile when he sat beside her and immediately pushed her still full plate towards him. "You have not been sleeping well."

"Well, I slept splendidly last night." He kissed her quickly since his rest was due to her and what she had done to him the night before. He took a bite of the fruit on her plate before giving her another kiss and standing up. "I have to go and check our ship, make sure that everything is secured and that they are on track to leave in five days."

The ship would be leaving a few days before they did. "Do you want me to accompany you?"

"No, stay here." He smiled at his wife as he started to walk away. "I will return in a few hours."

He made it to the port without any issues and was thankful that the Sealord's palace was not too far away. He checked with the ship's crew and made sure they had everything they needed. He had promised Visenya they would go dragon riding for a few hours before exploring the city a bit more. He was heading back towards the palace when someone caught his eye. Aemond was not sure what made him stop and look at the man, but there was something familiar about him. He frowned and moved a bit closer to the man who still had not noticed him. Aemond was only a few feet away when recognition hit him and his eyes widened.

"Laenor!" The man turned quickly and his eyes filled with fear when he saw Aemond. Laenor took a step back, but Aemond was there before he could try and run. "What is happening? How are you here, alive?"
