Rhaenyra makes Aemond an offer. Visenya and Aegon talk. I hope you guys like it 🥰

Aemond knew he was so fucked, there was no way he would be able to resist Visenya. He had always known that she would be his one day, but the closer the day got the more scared he became. Visenya was so young and he knew she was right in believing the lords would want her wed and with child as soon as possible. Aemond was terrified of that, she was so young, and having a child now would place her in danger. He knew he would not survive if Visenya died while having his child. He had seen the beautiful family that his other self had in the other world, but Visenya had been a bit older.

The knight he was training with almost stabbed him because he was not paying attention. Aemond was able to pivot at the last minute and get out of the way, glaring at the man, who apologized profusely. He knew it was not the man's fault, he knew better than to be distracted while training. He needed to keep his head in what he was doing, instead of thinking about Visenya.

"My prince," One of the kingsguards appeared on the balcony. "The queen is asking to see you."

Aemond nodded and handed his training sword to one of the knights before walking away. He was not sure why Rhaenyra had called for him but knew it had to be important. While his relationship with Rhaenyra was a bit better than it had been, he could not call her a friend. His sister had sent him on mission after mission, he knew what she was doing, but he had done it anyway. Rhaenyra had wanted to see if she could trust him, so she had tested him in any way she could think of. Aemond had done everything she asked, he wanted to prove to her that she could trust him, that he was worthy of Visenya.

The guard outside the small council chambers gave him a nod before opening the doors and letting him in. He found his sister sitting at the head of the table and bowed.

"Your grace," He moved a bit closer. "I was told you wished to speak to me."

"Yes, please sit." She gestured to the seat to her right and waited until he sat before continuing to speak. "I have been thinking about something and I talked about it to Daemon. While he was not happy about it, he finally understood and we are in agreement."

"In agreement about what?" He was hoping she was not going to send him away again.

"I want to name you hand of the queen." Aemond just sat there, he was not sure he had heard right. "If you are agreeable, of course."

"What?" He was shocked, this was not what he had expected. "Are you sure?"

"Of course." Rhaenyra poured some wine and slid the cup towards him. "It is not a secret that our relationship is not the best. While part of me has not forgiven you for what happened with Lucerys and to be honest I do not know if I ever will, I have made peace with it. I cannot spend the rest of my life dwelling on it, especially because I cannot punish you. I know how smart and driven you are and from what I saw in the other world you would be an excellent hand. There is also the fact that you will be king consort one day, you will rule beside her."

"Yes, Visenya has made it very clear what she wants." Rhaenyra gave him a confused look. "She is still afraid of what will happen once you officially name her your heir. She thinks that the lords will pressure you to have her wed as soon as possible."

"Of course they will try, they always do." Rhaenyra's look was amused. "And knowing my daughter she tried to get ahead of the problem by finding someone she wants to wed."

"Yes, she wants to marry me." Rhaenyra's look was still amused and it was making him a bit uncomfortable. "I do not like the idea of marrying her while she is still so young. If Visenya gets with child there is a large chance that she could die."
