6 year time jump. Visenya is now of age and Rhaenyra gives her some news. Visenya goes to Aemond. I hope you guys like it 🥰

6 years later.

"Princess," The knight who was charged with protecting her for the day entered her chambers and bowed. "The queen has requested to see you, she said is important."

Visenya nodded at the guard and put down her book. She knew something had happened, her mother had been talking to some of the people of her small council. There had been some issues with Dorne and some of the people feared that they would go to war. Her mother had attempted to reach out and talk to Princess Aliandria, but the woman was not interested. Somehow Visenya knew that this did not have anything to do with the issues with Dorne. Something else was happening, the last time she had seen her mother and father so secretive was a few years before when Aegon had renounced his position as heir. Her brother was a wonderful man, but he had no interest in being king. By all laws of inheritance, her brother Viserys was the heir apparent, but her mother had not named him heir officially. She had said that she wanted to wait and make sure Viserys wanted to be king. Her brother also had not seemed very interested and had been in Essos for the past year.

Her uncle was also gone, her mother had kept her word and not sent him away for three years, but there had been other issues after that. Cregan Stark had been having problems with the free folk getting past the wall and attacking the people. Her mother had sent her uncle Aemond after Cregan's fourth letter. Visenya knew the reason her mother kept sending her uncle to do all these things around the kingdom was because she was trying to find out if she could trust him. The relationship between her family and uncle was a bit complicated and Visenya did not blame them. While it was true that her uncle was one of the best men she knew, at least in her opinion, he was also at fault for her brother Lucerys's death. She knew it was an accident, but it had been caused by her uncle's reckless actions.

She made it to her parent's chambers and smiled at the guard who opened the door and allowed her in. She gave her mother a small curtsey, making her roll her eyes and smile at her father.

"Muña, kepa." Visenya kissed her mother and father's cheek before sitting down across from them. "I was told you wished to speak to me."

"Yes, we have received a letter from Viserys." Visenya just nodded, but was a bit confused. This was not the first time they had received a letter from her brother. He had sent them letters at least once every moon. "He has met a woman and wants to marry her."

"Are we happy about it?" While she was not sure how a woman from the free cities would be accepted by the lord of Westeros, she was not sure why her mother was telling her. "He wants to stay there with her."

"Stay there?" Now she was very confused. "He cannot, he is supposed to become king after you."

"He says he does not want to be king." Visenya raised an eyebrow. She had known Viserys did not like feeling trapped or under the weight of so many expectations, but she had not expected him to give up the throne. Something occurred to her and she gave her parents a hesitant look. "What exactly does this mean? What will happen if Viserys renounces his claim?"

"Then you will become the heir and be queen after me." Her mother's answer was not what she expected. Her mother did not look upset or even surprised by the thought of her being queen.

"Are you not upset that my brothers do not want the throne?" She should have thought her mother would not be happy that two of her children had rejected what she had fought so hard for.
