Rhaenyra and Helaena talk, a few truths some to light. Aemond manipulates Aegon and Criston Cole, and Daemon takes care of the rest. I hope you guys like it. 🥰

4 Days later.

Rhaenyra was happy to have her sister with her, while she had never been able to spend much time with Helaena, she loved her little sister. Helaena was the sweetest out of her siblings and she had been mistreated most of her life. She had been ignored by their father and her mother had found her strange and then forced her to marry Aegon. Their brother had also mistreated the poor girl, even after she gave him three children. Rhaenyra had never understood why Alicent had just stood by and let Helaena be mistreated that way. Most people believed that Helaena was insane, or as Aegon had said it once, an idiot. Rhaenyra had been watching her sister since she had arrived and she knew with certainty that her sister was not crazy or a simpleton, she was a dragon dreamer. That was the reason why she seemed to know what would happen before it did. Her sister was very smart, it was just that people refused to listen to her.

"It will start soon." She jumped, so lost in her thoughts that she had not noticed that Helaena had approached her. "The battle, I know you are worried."

"I should be there." She did not like the idea of Daemon fighting while she was so far away. "I do not like this at all."

"I know and I can understand." Helaena gave her a smile. "Your story will live for thousands of years, that is something to be proud of."

"I am not so sure anymore." The throne required a lot of sacrifices, she was not sure that it was worth it after everything she had to give up. "I might become queen, but I will lose my two oldest children. They will hate me forever."

"They might, I cannot see everything that will happen yet, but they will be alive." Helaena gave her a sad smile. "I can tell you what was supposed to happen if you had not changed things. The fate that awaited all of us, is not pleasant."

"What was it?" Even if it was not pleasant, she wanted to know. She needed to know that she had not ruined Jace and Joff's lives for nothing.

"After Luke's death, you grew angry and so did Daemon. He would have sent two men to my chambers and forced me to choose which of my sons they would kill." Rhaenyra sucked in a breath, hating that Daemon would have done something so despicable, but knowing that her husband did not always think things through when he was angry. "A son for a son, that is what Daemon said. Those men would kill my oldest son. Rhaenys would have died, actually, if things had remained the same she would have been dead already. Then your children would have been taken, one by one."

Rhaenyra's eyes filled with tears, she had not realized how awful things were supposed to be. Helaena gave her a devastatingly sad look and a tear ran down her down her face.

"Jace would have been killed with his dragon while trying to save Aegon and Viserys. Aegon would have survived, but his dragon would have died and you would have never seen Viserys again." More tears ran down Helaena's face. "Joffrey would have died while trying to save the dragons when the common folk invaded the dragon pit and the dragons would have died anyway. Daemon and Aemond killed each other in the Riverlands, neither of them, or their dragons survived that battle."

A tear ran down Rhaenyra's face as Helaena moved closer to her and took her hands, squeezing them tightly. "And you would have been killed here in Dragonstone, in your own home. Aegon would have burned you alive in front of your son before having his dragon eat you. Your son would have never recovered from the image and yes, he would have become king, but tragedy would have followed him for the rest of his life. He would have been known as Aegon the Unlucky, the unhappy, the broken king, the dragonbane."
