2 years later.
Things had been a bit uncomfortable for the first few moons after they returned from the Free Cities. She was not sure what had happened between her husband and parents, but things had been very tense. After a few moons, they had seemed to come to an understanding and things had gotten better between them. Things had also become better between her mother and Rhaenys since Corlys' death a year prior. The princess had apologized to her mother several times and even attempted to get Baela to change her mind about many decisions she had made. The princess had become a fixture in Kings Landing for the past year. Her mother considered Rhaenys an advisor and the women were good friends.
"Did you see the healer?" Her husband appeared beside her, making her jump, she had not heard him approach. "What did the healer have to say?"
"I met with the midwife." Aemond ran his hand over her swollen belly, smiling when the babe kicked. "She said everything is going well."
"Good." Aemond kissed her lips, his hand still moving over her belly. "Why are you here? I thought you were going to rest."
"I am resting." She gave him an amused look. "I am sitting here, doing absolutely nothing."
"Is it not a bit hot out here?" Visenya rolled her eyes. "Would you not be more comfortable in our chambers?"
"Aemond," She gave him a small smile and stood up, cupping his face. "I love you, but you are driving me crazy."
"I am not."
"Yes, you are." She gave him a knowing look. "There have been some plans put in place."
"That is a little drastic." Her husband said in an annoyed voice.
"No, drastic was when I planned to throw you in the black cells until the babe was born." His mouth dropped open. "You are lucky my mother convinced me going to those extremes would not be necessary."
Aemond gave her an incredulous look and shook his head. She loved her husband but since she got with child he had taken his overprotectiveness to whole new levels. She knew he was a bit afraid, but he had also told her about all the children the other Aemond and Visenya had in the other world. Her husband was sure they would have a girl and Visenya was charmed by how happy he was at the idea of a daughter. Every time she spoke with any of the lords or ladies in court they all wished for her to have a son. Her husband just kept saying he wished for her and the babe to be healthy and that he was sure it would be a girl. He already had the name picked out, insisting that their first daughter would be named Aysse. She knew that was the name for the daughter the other Aemond and Visenya had in the other world.
"Since you are so worried." Visenya wrapped her hands around her husband's neck and bit his bottom lip, smiling when he moaned. "You should take me back to our chambers and tire me out so I can rest."
Her husband's answer was to take her mouth in a harsh kiss. She loved how easily she could stoke her husband's desires.
