We have a 4 year time jump, some things have changed others haven't. I hope you guys like it 🥰

4 years later.

Helaena laughed when Jace pulled her into his chambers, his mouth taking hers in a deep kiss. She moaned and wrapped her arms around his neck, their tongues tangling together as he pushed her against a wall. She loved the way Jace acted around her, like he could never get enough. Helaena loved the way Jace made her feel, loved, cherished, and protected. He was sweet and gentle with her, he had shown her that lovemaking did not have to be painful. He always made sure to give her as much pleasure as possible and they had fun together.

"I missed you." He said while kissing a path down her neck. "I could not wait to see you again."

"You saw me a few moons ago." His hands went to the laces on the back of her gown. "I did not know you would be visiting so soon."

"It was a last minute decision." He removed his tunic before pulling her against him. "I had to come and see my mother about a new business venture."

"You could have sent one of you men for that." She moaned again when he sucked her earlobe into his mouth. "You have done it before."

"Yes, but I wanted to see you." He swung her around and walked her backward to the bed. "I have missed you and you refuse to marry me."

"Jace, is not that I do not want..." She moaned when one of his hands snuck between her legs. "You should find someone better to marry."

"You are the best woman I have ever met and I do not want anyone else." He removed her gown and turned her around, sweeping her hair over one shoulder and kissing her shoulders and neck. "I only want you Helaena."

He picked her up and placed her on the bed, before climbing on top of her. His mouth was on hers again and he moved between her legs. He broke the kiss and looked into her eyes before pushing inside her. He had done this since the first time they were together after Helaena had told him what being with Aegon was like. He had always made sure that she was enjoying herself and that he would not hurt her. She never worried about him hurting her.

She moved against him as he thrust inside her. They clung to each other, their bodies moving together. Their lovemaking was more hurried this time, they had been apart for a while and could not take things slow. They kept moving until they reached their climax and were able to think clearly once more. Helaena laid her head on his chest, one of her hands moving from his chest to his stomach.

"I do love you, Jace." She looked up, loving his beautiful smile. "I just think that you deserved someone who was not married to a traitor. You are handsome, rich and a dragon rider, you can have anyone you want."

"Yes, and I want you." He ran a hand down her back. "I have always wanted you and I would be honored to marry you."

"Are you sure your mother will allow us to?"

"Yes, my mother wants you to be happy and even while part of me is still angry with her, I know she wants me to be happy too." He lowered his head and kissed her. "I love you Helaena and I love your children, I want us to be a family."

"Are you sure?" She did not want him to regret it.

"I have never been more sure of anything." He flipped them over, making her laugh. "Say you will marry me."

"Yes,"

His smile was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen, she was in love with that smile. She could see why Rhaenyra had loved Harwin Strong so much, Jace was a lot like his father and she had never seen someone more beautiful. She believed they would have beautiful children together.
