"YOU WHAT!?" Nanggagalaiti na tanong ni Berette nang sabihin sa kanya ni Al ang tungkol sa nangyaring experimentation kagabi. And it is not only Berette that's unhappy with the news, kung hindi pati maging ang ina at mga kapatid.

They are now currently eating their breakfast together, a rare occurrence dahil madalas ay masyado silang maagang nagigising para gawin ang mga kanya-kanyang trabaho. But today, Al asked for their presence together dahil may gusto itong sabihin.

Ang that's what he said, kung anong nangyari kahapon mamula nang umuwing umiiyak si Bel hanggang sa nangyaring experimentation. He knows that his father will get angry kaya inisip niya na ipaalam ang pangyayari privately pero naisip niya na may karapatan ding direktang malaman ng ina at mga kapatid ang tungkol sa bagay na iyon.

"I'm sorry allowing it without your consent. I am not making excuses but Bel seems really want it, and we really need to know the use of ZP because it can be a big change to our lives. Nandoon ako the whole time that they are doing the tests. Aside from some questions ay wala namang ibang ginawa si dr. Pianno kaya hindi ko na pinigilan." Sabi ni Al. But it seems it didn't calm Berette down.

"But it could be dangerous! Paano na lang kung may epekto ito kay Bel?! What can you do if ever that it will make Bel into a zombie?? Nothing!"

Al can retaliate with that but he choose not to and just look down. He knows that is the best action. Kakainin na lang niya ang sermon ng ama dahil doon din naman iyon pupunta.

However, Bel, who was watching the whole ordeal, can't watch his brother getting scolded. Ang akala niya ay malungkot ang kapatid dahil hindi ito umiimik, so she put down the utensils she's holding and went down her chair bago siya lumapit sa ama. She tug his pants kaya napatingin ito sa kanya.

"Daddy, I'm fine. Kuya Al tried to stop me but I insisted. It's not kuya's fault." Sabi ni Bel. She's looking up at Berette and her eyes seems talking, begging him not to scold her brother.

Bumuntong hininga si Berette at naupo. He picked Bel up and put her onhis lap. "My princess, I'm just teaching your brother a lesson. He just put you into danger." Paliwanag ni Berette.

Bel pouted her lips. "But daddy, I'm fine. I don't feel anything bad. I actually feels stronger." Sabi ni Bel.

Berette sighed again and nod. "Alright, I'll stop." Sabi nito bago tumingin kay Al. "We'll continue this later." Seryong sabi niya na tinanguan ni Al. Bel pouted more, alam na papagalitan ng ama si Al kapag wala na siya sa tabi nito, pero hindi na siya nagsalita ukol doon.

Iniba ni Bel ang usapan. "Anyway, daddy. You should try absorbing ZP too. I got some cool powers because of it." Pagmamayabang niya.

Berette raised his eyebrow and laughed because his daughter seems confident. "Really? Anong powers naman ang nakuha mo?"

"Uhm, I have a lot, but this one is cool. Really cool." Sabi ni Bel bago binuksan ang palad. And in span of seconds, the air got a little colder. Maya-maya lang ay may yelong nabuo sa may ibabaw ng kamay ni Bel. It became bigger and formed an ice as big as an adult's fist. Her family gasped in shock.

"C-cool right, daddy?" Nanginginig na sabi ni Bel. She haven't realize that the air gotten colder. There are a few ice forming on her body too. Her breathe has smoke coming with it dahil sa lamig nito.

"Chevell!" Nang naramdaman ni Berette ang malamig na katawan ni bel ay kaagad na inalis nito ang yelo sa may kamay ni Bel at ipinatong sa lamesa. He hugged her immediately, rubbing her hands and breathing on it.

"Clementine, get some thick blanket!" Kaagad na utos ni Berette. Nagkukumahog naman si Clementine na umakyat sa itaas. Maging ang mga kapatid ni Bel ay nagsilapitad dito. While Berette is breathing on Bel's palm to cool it down, Tus is rubbing Bel's cheek kung saan may ilang yelo ring nabuo. She's still shivering as the tips of her fingers get bluish, as well as her lips. She looks pale because of the cold.
