You met Kai while you were having a bad night and had been crying.
You were sitting on a bench and crying because of a hurtful comment someone had said to you. Your cheeks were wet with tears that had started to dry, but you were still sniffling. Then you heard footsteps coming closer to you.
"Excuse me," A deep voice asked, causing you to look up.
"Are you okay?" He asked as you scoffed.
"I mean, I know you're not okay, hence the crying but I- are you-?" He stuttered as you let out a chuckle, causing him to smile.
"You're awkward, I like you." you stated with a smile as he said,
"Well, I'm usually a lot smoother." and you both laughed.
"I'm only like that in the presence of beautiful women." he said as you blushed.
"Ooh! You are smooth!" you exclaimed as he let out a deep chuckle.
You spent the rest of the night happy, totally forgetting about the mean remark.
