Imagine: Your ex comes to town and tries to win you back but you're with Kol.

Your pov:
I was walking in the town square with my boyfriend, Kol. I got together with him a couple months after me and my ex split.

"Wow, it's beautiful at night." I sighed as I leaned into Kol's chest.

"I know, I love it too." He smiled.

As we were walking I spotted someone I never thought I'd see again.

"Oh my god." I whispered.

"What happened?" Kol asked.

My...ex...is...here." I whispered in a scared yet annoyed tone.

"Where?" Kol asked.

I pointed in Derek's direction.

"Why'd you guys break up?" Kol asked, gripping my hand tighter.

"He was an abusive drunk." I replied as he gasped lightly.

"That's why you only wore pants and long sleeves in front of me." Kol whispered, anger filling him.

"I'm gonna kill him." Kol announced to me.

"No, Kol!" I exclaimed, grabbing his arm.

It was no use, so I followed him.

"Y/n!" Derek greeted as he tries to hug me but Kol stepped in front of me.

"Who are you?" Derek asked Kol.

"Her boyfriend." Kol gritted his teeth.

"Well.. I know you still love me as I do you. Let's get back together!" Derek pleaded, getting closer.

His breath and jacket smelled of alcohol.

"Derek, you're drunk! Leave!" I exclaimed, annoyed.

"Would I have been able to drive all the way from Beacon Hills--and be perfectly fine--if I were drunk?" He slurred.

"You're a werewolf! You can heal from the things humans can't!" I scoffed.

"He's a werewolf?" Kol asked me, I nodded.

"Do you have a thing for the supernatural?" Kol smirked as I rolled my eyes.

"Bye, Derek." I said as I turned on my heel and started walking.

I felt a hand ghost over my wrist before being ripped off me. I turned and saw Derek's wrist in Kol's hand. Kol quickly punched him across the face.

"She won't let me kill you, but you deserved that." Kol said before grabbing my hand, and walking away.

"My hero." I sighed as I kissed him.

"Love you." I whispered.

"Love you too." He replied.
