Damon: "Fainted into my arms."

Prompt:38. "You fainted...straight into my arms. You know, if you wanted my attention you didn't have to go to such extremes."

Imagine: Fainting into Damon's arms due to lack of sleep.

You had been spending time with Damon and Stefan all day. Damon is your boyfriend and had been for over two years.

Stefan and Damon had been talking the entire time you three were entered the Salvatore boarding house.

"Guys? What are we going to do about them?" You asked before yawning.

"I don't know, Y/n." Damon sighed.

"When was the last time you slept?" Stefan asked.

"I don't even know." You rubbed your eye.

Your response caused Damon's attention to perk up.

"Babe, you know you're human. You need to sleep."

"Not until we get this finished." You walked over to where the boys were standing.

"No, you need to rest. You're no help if you're burnt out." Damon spoke.

"Yeah," You yawned.

"You're right."

You collapsed into Damon's arms, and he caught you instantly.

A chuckle left his lips, as well as Stefan's, before he carried you bridal style to yours and his shared bedroom.

*hours later*

You tossed and turned before your eyes opened.

"Damon?" You smiled as you saw him beside you.

"Yes, Y/n?" He smirked.

"What happened?" You rubbed your eyes.

"You fainted...straight into my arms. You know, if you wanted my attention you didn't have to go to such extremes."

"Shut up." You giggled and playfully hit him with a pillow.

"You carried me here?" You asked.

"Of course."

You stared into his bright blue eyes, smiling.

"I love you." You whispered as you ran your hand down his face.

"I love you too." He responded before kissing your lips.
