This is part two, of the previous chapter. But this one has to do with abuse. (Read with caution).

Damon: *
"I can't believe this!" You shouted as you paced the living room.

Damon was supposed to go out and have a little drink. He claimed to be back by 7, 8 the latest. It was now 10 o'clock and you were angry. He was nearly 3 hours late for your anniversary dinner! You knew he'd be a little late but, oh my god! You lit candles, got all dressed up, and even made a nice home cooked dinner!

There you sat, at the table waiting for Damon's return, at 12 o'clock! You watched some tv to pass the time.

You heard the lock being fumbled with as Damon came in. Your lungs were ready for an argument as you stood up and made your way to the door.

"Hello, Damon." You greeted coldly.

"Hey y/n." He sauntered past you into the living room.

"Do you know what time it is?" You asked as if you were talking to a child.

"Yeah, it's like 1." He shrugged, taking a sip of something, you didn't care what.

"Exactly. Do you know what time you were supposed to be home?!" You said, your voice volume increasing.

"Woah, like 8." He said, stumbling a step back, due to your outburst.

"Yes Damon! You ruined our anniversary!" You yelled.

"Why do you have to be such a drunk?" You asked as he stared coldly at you.

"Why do you have to be so annoying?" He asked. His breath smelled of alcohol.

"I can't believe you Damon, you ruined it. All because you had to stay out late and get drunk!" You yelled as he stared daggers at you.

He grabbed you by the wrist, hard.

"I don't need lectures from you." He spat as he walked upstairs.

He let go of you hard, causing you to fall against the hard tile.

Caroline:*
You were staying in at yours and your wife's shared house. Caroline was currently draining the blood of some girl.

"Caroline!" You yelled, making her head pop up. Her humanity was off, so she was out of control.

"Can you not?" You asked.

Caroline let the girl's body drop and made her way over to you, never breaking eye contact.

"Can I not what?" She asked, sitting across from you.

"Kill right in front of me?" You scoffed, returning your gaze to your magazine.

"You may be my wife, but your opinion doesn't matter to my right now. 'Cause I don't care." She said as you shrugged.

"You don't care, but I do. So stop." You said in a demanding voice. You felt her hand strike your face, making your head turn to the side.

"You can't tell me what to do."

Your face finally turned into the proper position. You stared at Caroline, with tears threatening to spill. One single tear fell, followed by another, and another, until you were sobbing.

"You hit me." You whispered out with shock.

Elijah:
"Its just not fair, Elijah." You said as he sighed.

"You let yourself get into these horrible situations. And for what? To assume Klaus will have a redemption?!" You scoffed.

"Y/n, he is my brother." You rolled your eyes.

"And I am to be your wife!" You exclaimed.

"Yes, he's your brother but he has done nothing but hurt you!" You said as you walked closer to him.

"That's not true, he's helped me many times, and he hasn't made me feel hurt in a while, Y/n" he replied.

"Keep lying to yourself. That's not what brothers do to each other. That's not what families do to each other!" You scoffed and turned your back to him.

"And what would you know about family? You have none." He shouted.

You stopped in your tracks and turned around. You started walking over to him.

"Y/n, I-" you cut him off with a slap to the face.

"I may not have a family, but that doesn't make it okay for you to throw in my face." You exclaimed and strutted out of the house, slamming it behind you, leaving Elijah sad and angry.
