Imagine: going into a coma and your fiancé Stefan, visiting everyday.

Prompt: 20 "You need to wake up because I can't do this without you."

Second person pov:
You had just gone into a coma. It happened over a month ago. The doctors say you're stable, but they are unsure of when you'd wake up.

An accident happened, causing you to fall into a deep sleep. A coma.

Stefan never let a day go by where he'd hadn't seen you.

Your husband always came to see you. Flowers, your favorite, on your bedside table. He'd talk to you. Tell you what had happened that day. And you heard every single word. You just couldn't answer.

You tried to though. It was like speaking underwater. Your mind wanted to scream, shout. But no words left your lips.

And even if you slept, and never woke, Stefan never gave up. He remained hopeful.

It was a day like any other.
Flowers on your table, Stefan's hand in yours.

"You need to wake up because I can't do this without you." Whispered Stefan as he kissed your lips, a tear slipped out of his eye.

Except this time, your hand twitched.

It was the slightest movement, but Stefan noticed.

"Y/n?" Stefan whispered.

Your eyes snapped open, taking heavier breaths.

"Stefan." You whispered.

"You're awake! Doctors!" Stefan exclaimed.

"She's awake?" The doctor burst into the room.

"Y/n. How do you feel?" The doctor asked.

"I feel like Snow White. He kissed me, and I woke." You giggled.

You tried to sit up, then pain shot up your spine.

"Woah, woah, woah." The doctor laid you back.

"You just woke up from a coma. Lay back. Relax." Stefan chimed.

"I love you, Stefan." You slurred your words together tiredly.

"I love you too." He kissed your hand.

"Get some rest." The doctor smiled before leaving.

"I heard every single word." You smiled and fell asleep, Stefan's hand intertwined in yours.
