Third person pov:
"Merry Christmas!" Y/n cheered as she entered the room.
"Merry Christmas, love." Kol replied with a smile on his lips.
"So, we're spending Christmas at my family's house. Right?" Y/n asked.
"Your family's house?" Kol asked as Y/n nodded.
"What about spending the holidays with my family?" Kol asked, looking offended.
"I just wanted to spend time with my family, with you."
Y/n Shrugged.
"I thought you loved me and my family." Kol sighed.
"No, I love you...it's just...your family..." Y/n trailed.
Kol looked taken back.
"My family?" He repeated as Y/n sighed.
"I'm sorry, it sounds so harsh. It's just I'd rather not spend the holidays with people who don't even like me." Y/n trailed.
Kol's expression softened as he sat right in front of Y/n.
"They love you, Y/n. They're just a little intimidating." Kol shrugged lightly, a small smile on his face.
"Really?" Y/n's expression brightened.
Kol nodded in response.
"Okay. We'll celebrate with your family." Y/n smiled.
"Great!" Kol cheered before pressing his lips to Y/n's
