Second person pov:
You had spent all day decorations the house in a very tumblr Christmas style.
Then, you baked and cooked for your Christmas party later.
All that was missing was your fiancé Stefan.
He had been out with Damon tracking some guy down.
You had been waiting for his call all day. Causing you to jump to answer the phone when his name flashed across your phone screen.
"Stefan?"
"Hey babe." Stefan spoke.
"You're okay." You sighed, relieved.
"Of course. Always." You could almost hear the smirk.
"So, when are you coming home?" You asked.
"That's the thing.." Stefan trailed off his sentence.
"I won't be home for Christmas.." Stefan sighed.
Your breath hitched in your throat.
"What?" You whispered.
"I'm sorry, baby. I just won't be back until tomorrow.. after Christmas." Stefan added as you ran a hand through your hair.
"Well...um. I guess I'll see you tomorrow." You shook your head in disbelief.
"Don't be mad. Please." Stefan begged.
"One day. I just wanted one day." You shut your eyes and sighed heavily.
"I'm so sorry. I'll try to be back sooner even." Stefan tried to apologize.
"Don't bother." You hung up the phone and slammed it on the table.
