Your pov:
Caroline was currently packing Sophia's and Madison's bag for the babysitter. My lovely wife was frantic and kinda freaking out.
"Babe! Calm down!" I yelled as she stopped in her tracks.
"Sorry, I'm just having separation anxiety." She sighed as she sat down.
LI understand, but babe relax." I said as I rubbed her back, as she nodded.
"We trust Elena, don't we?" I asked as she nodded.
"Then we have nothing to be anxious about." I assured her.
"Sophia and Madison? Loves, you're staying with Aunty Elena for a little while, so me and mommy can have our vacation, okay?" I asked our 4 year old and our 6 year old.
"Okay mommy." They nodded.
*ding dong*
"That's the babysitter." I sprung up from my seat to answer the door.
"Hey Elena! Come on in." Elena smiled and walked in and walked over to the toddlers.
"Hey!" She greeted.
"Aunty Elena!" Sophia and Madison cheered and hugged her.
"Okay, remember, we're going to go away for 5 days, alright?" I told Elena as she nodded.
"Don't forget to give them a little time outside." I reminded.
"Yes and make sure they have their veggies!" Caroline chimed.
"And fruits! I bought a bunch more." I smiled.
"And Sophia is allergic to peanuts! So don't give her any." I added.
"And-" Caroline tried but Elena interrupted.
"Guys!" She yelled, startling us both.
"I got this. Go have fun." She scolded playfully, adding a wink at the end. Caroline and I blushed.
"Bye babes." I smiled as I kissed my beautiful girls heads goodbye.
