Christmas never was your favorite holiday. It gave you bad memories. You were a bit of a grinch around this time of year.
So when 'All I want for Christmas' came on the radio for the tenth time since you woke up, you lost it.
"I swear, if I have to listen to one more Christmas song..." You sighed heavily.
"Y/n." Elijah spoke suddenly, scaring you.
"Didn't mean to startle you." He chuckled.
"What's the problem?" Elijah asked.
"Babe! This song has been playing on repeat all day! I'm going crazy!" You sighed.
"Y/n..relax." Elijah patted your shoulder.
"Here," Elijah changed the radio station.
It was the same song!
You raised your eyebrow at Elijah.
He shut off the radio and sat beside you.
"Why are you always so upset this time of year?" Your lovely husband asked.
"Well, every year, I ruin Christmas." You rubbed your temple.
"Y/n.." Elijah frowned.
"No! It's true!" You exclaimed.
"It seemed that every year, I was saying: Christmas is ruined and it's all my fault!" You stood up and paced the room.
"I just.. I can't. I have really bad memories as a child during the holidays." You shrugged.
Elijah hugged you, before placing a kiss to your lips.
"Honey, let's sit and talk about it, I'll make you something to eat. Okay?" Elijah offered.
"Okay. Thanks babe." You smiled.
