I rummaged through my closes in the closet as I picked out an outfit for tonight. I picked my jeans and a light blue button down with a sunset orange sweater. I placed my outfit on my bed and sat down at the desk. Nathan comes into the room shutting the door behind him and sits down at his desk next to mine.
" We needa talk. " Nathan say
" Is everything okay?" I ask
" Sorta... I overheard Kiyle telling Jackie she has feelings for you still. " Nathan says
" Kiyle likes me?" I asked
" Yes. It is so obvious. She has had the biggest crush on you ever since Madi left to go to school.Maybe a little before that but she didn't do anything because she knows you are in love with Madi. Then with the whole Jackie situation she didn't say anything to mess up your relationship" Nathan said
" I kinda thought she had a crush on me but.. I never thought anything of it since we are so close friends. " I said
" Even Cole knows how much she likes you. " Nathan said
" Oh.. okay" I said
" You excited for the dinner?" Nathan asks trying to change the subject.
" Very. " I said
" don't get too exited Alex .. you know what I mean" Nathan says
I shot Nathan a look. " she saw my scares yesterday morning. Madeline did.." I said
" you said she knew" Nathan tells me
" she dose. She has not seen them till last night. She ran her fingers over them. But I can't tell if she was doing it just cuz she felt bad or because she was drunk" I said
" I'm sure she is not phased by it. " Nathan says
" true. " I said
" have fun tonight " Nathan says

I sat on my bed looking at my phone. December 23rd. I still needed to get Madi her Christmas gift. I went to our text messages and scrolled through them to see ur I could get any ideas on what to get her. I scrolled through the messages and stoped at the photo of her snowboarding from yesterday. I knew right then what I was gonna give her for Christmas.
Heading to my desk I turn on my computer. I head to the website and pull my wallet out of my pocket. I got reservations and put my phone back in my pocket and screenshot the confirmation from my email on my phone. I got up and headed to the bathroom to take a shower.
I turned on the shower and got in. The water was lukewarm warm.. but then again with so many people in the house I was used to it. I took a quick shower and got out drying off and wrapping the towel around my waist. I heard a knock on the door. I headed to the door and opened it.
