I tighten my arms around me so no one could tell my nipples were poking through my shirt. Not that it was noticeable through the sweatshirt. Ok ok maybe it was a little noticeable but not by much.
" you cold?" I asked as I watch Alex turn off the car outside the bakery
" yes " he replies.
I get out of the car. We walk to the bakery. Alex opens the door. The delightful smell of pastries were in the air. A girl with blond hair was behind the counter smiling and welcoming us in.
" good morning! " the lady says
" good morning. You staying warm?" I say as we walk up to her
" yea we are staying warm. Hope you both are. What can I get for you this morning !" The lady asks
" what do you recommend? It's our first time here " Alex says
" everything. But for drinks I recommend the lavender coffee. It's my favorite. The vanilla lavender is good. If you are looking for a holiday drink the chestnut caramel is amazing. My boyfriend loves that one" she says
" lavender vanilla sounds good " I said
" hot or iced ?" She asks
" hot" I said
" I'll try the chestnut caramel " Alex says
" hot please " Alex adds
" sounds good. For food suggestions really anything." She says
