I sat on the bed as Madi took a quick shower before we headed out for dinner. Taking off my coat I pull up my sleeve. The bandage was not red. Not that I was thinking it was gonna be red. I took the bandage off as I look up at the bathroom door. I could hear the shower still going.
I put the bandage beside me as I look down at my forearm. The lines looked like the bright red I remember. I tapped on them lightly with my fingers. They stung to the touch. I knew it would still sting a little. Closing my eyes I thought back to this morning.
Told you it wasn't getting better. I thought.
Opening my eyes I heard the shower turn off pulled my sleeve down and wadded up the bandage and shoved it into my bookbag next to me. The shirt rubbed on my scares and I always hated that feeling. The door to the bathroom opens and Madi walks into the room with damp hair and the water was dripping off her bangs.
She looked adorable as always. The towel was tight around her as she walked to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I blushed. Her hair smelt like that Tropical Glow bodywash from Tree Hut. Smiling as our eyes met. I watch as she heads over to her suitcase and pulls out a blue dress. It was silk, light blue, with a. cows neckline and went all the way to above her ankles. I watched as Madi slips on her dress. I start to blush. She turns and smiles back at me.
" Can you tie the back for me?" She asks
" Yes" I said
Madi walks to me and kneels down. I tie the back of the dress and she turns. I smile and lean in giving her a kiss. Madi gets up as she towel dries her hair before heading back to the bathroom to dry her hair with the hairdryer. I used this moment to change into my dinner outfit. Nice black slacks, White shirt and a nice jacket that Cole is letting me use for the trip. I fixed my hair and started to put my shoes and socks on when Madi comes out of the bathroom. She puts on her shoes and grabs her coat. I grab mine as we headed out the door

We parked in the parking lot. The Christmas nights overhead twinkled. I turned the car off and I got out walking to her side and opening the door. She blushes as I help her get out of the car. I open Castles door for her as we head inside. We get hit with heat and a nice fireplace as we walk inside. It was just like I remember it. Dim lit, Nice for date nights and special occasions. We sat down at the table.I looked down at the drink menu. Glancing over I opened the main menu and looked through before closing it and setting it to the side. The waiter comes over and got our drink orders. The waiter leaves to give us more time to look over the menu.
" What are you going to get?" Madi asks looking up at me.
