I open the door for Madi when we got back to our room. The room still had that Starbucks coffee smell. I didn't mind I like that smell. I took off my jacket and dug through my shirts to find the one I always wear for snowboarding . After finding it at the very bottom of my suitcase I took my short sleeve off.
Looking down at my wrist I moved my right hand over the lines. The lines were still super faint. I could tell that Madi was looking at me. I couldn't tell if she was staring at me because I was still shirtless or because I was still looking at my arm. I changed into my long sleeve and pulled up the sleeves to my elbows. Looking up I noticed Madi was still looking at me.
" Im okay. Promise " I said
" You absolutely sure?" Madi asks
" I promise. If it was going to get bad again I would tell you. You would be one of the first people to know. I promise" I said
Madi smiles that cute little smile she dose. I walk to her and take her hand. I rub my thumb against hers as I pull her in and give her a kiss on the forehead. I walked to the closet and I opened it grabbing my coat and Madis coat. I turn round to see that she had put her snowboarding pants onto of her leggings and started to tie her shoes. I walk to her and hand her the coat.
" Thanks" Madi says
" Welcome cutie pie" I said
We headed out of the lobby and went to the ski lift. We took the ski lift up to the top. I pulled out my phone and got it on video as we passed all the snow covered trees. I flip the camera and take a selfie with Madi.
" for mum" Alex says
" Oh send it to my mom too" I said
" Will do" Alex says
We got off the ski lift. I look over at Madi as she already was putting her goggles on. Madi pulls two pieces of hair out from her helmet in front of her face. She smiles at me and gives me a thumbs up.
" See you t the Botton" She said
" See ya" I said
I watched as Madi took off. Swaying back and fourth down the mountain. Madi was by far the better snowboarder than me. I was only a okay snowboarder. I loves watching her though. She looked beautiful. I headed down after her a few moments later. Still had only thee slightest idea of what I sas doing. but it was really fun regardless.
I met Madi at the Botton as she was waiting for me.
" You did great" Madi says
" You didn't even see me silly " I said jokingly
" I watched you as soon as I got to the bottom of the hill. We can go together this time. " Madi says
I smile as I hugged here. Madi smelled like vanilla perfume. Madi had a few vanilla perfumes she likes to wear. All of them smell amazing but this one.. tops thee others anyway.
