I got out of the car and shut the door behind me. Looking up I smile when I recognized the restaurant we were at. It was one of the first places Alex, Cole and I went to when we first went snowboarding a few years ago. Alex walks up beside me and I look over smiling at him.
" I love this place " I said
" I know " Alex says smiling
Alex opens the door from me. We walk inside and got us a table. The waiter pulled out our chairs at us. The restaurant looked exactly like it did when we came two years ago. Dim lighting, pretty soft music.
" thank you" I said
" thanks" Alex said
I glanced over the menu till I saw the drink list. Looking down I read the drinks to myself before picking one out. I look up and saw Alex looking at me.
" what is it?" I ask
" you just look beautiful " Alex says
I smile. The waitress walks over and introduces herself.
" can I just get the vampire drink please " I said
" me too " Alex said
" I will go put those in for you and I'll give you a moment to give you moment to read the menu " she days
I look over at Alex in shock. Giving him a surprised look. I didn't think Alex was a big vodka drinker. Considering the drinks we just ordered was vodka, cranberry juice and grapefruit.
" looked good. " Alex says as like he knew what he was thinking.
I smile
The waitress came back and handed us our drinks. I order an appetizer for us to share. I look at Alex who was giving me a confused look.
" what?" I asked
" I didn't know you liked shellfish?" He asks
" I only eat it on occasions " I reminded him
" forgot. Well cheers to a fantastic week " he said
I pick up my drink and clink it against his. Smile more I took a sip. Turns out grapefruit and vodka tasted good. Who would have know. I wasn't a big grapefruit liker.
